Biking to the Burn

Transcontinental Bike Trip

So my friend Mary and I are biking from Bar Harbour, Maine to Reno, Nevada this summer. And then after Burning Man, I think I am going to bike solo from Reno to San Francisco. We are trying to do this by couch surfing/camping as much as possible, so if any of you are (or know people who are) on our route and would be willing to offer us a couch, floor, or yard to pitch a tent we'd appriciate it a lot. Our tentitive route is as follows (we want to make it back to Boulder to see our friends and attend the Rainbow Gathering). Also, I will be brining a set of poi, so if you know of any fire friendly events (or any other events/sights/etc. you would reccomend) along the way it would be most appriciated!
