Personally, I think it would make a wonderful new type of weapon for the

Okay, I have been suffering from severe headaches for almost 2 weeks, my doctor says it is stress headaches but they are so dang bad that I cannot move my head without wanting to throw up. I almost deem them to be migraine quality. It can get hard for me to function etc... I even work for doctors.....help.....does anyone have a suggestion for the cure for these stupid things, at this point vicaprofen doesn't help, ultracet sucks, and vicadin doesn't do much wonders...any old home remedies that might work?

If your jaw/teeth hurt* too, it could be from Bruxism (knashing/clenching of teeth). Or could be from tempo-mandibular joint disorder (TMJ).

If it is Bruxism, until you remove the impetus for doing so (psych-stressor), your dentist might make a splint, which is very much like a mouthguard, except being custom molded to your teeth. They last for a year or more. I've had mine for two, bit nearly beyond belief ™.
Or, if on a budget, buy a mouthguard. Sleep with it & wear it in the day, too, if clenching then.

By spacing the jaw just that 1/8" apart, the regular clench pressure available to your jaw muscles is greatly diminished. This has helped me alot, hope your problem is as easily remedied until you/i am/are no longer a psych-ward candidate.

I just looked out my window to the south tonight, and saw Orion rather prominently, so made this link for you to see:

Would it be proud to know it is the constellation of the month?!

It is in the south sky, perfectly oriented to our axis for veiwing. Lots of times it is sidesaddle or nearly up-side down so this is somewhat of a treat. If you are going to be out of the city on a clear night, might be worth a look-see, eh.

A lot like Burningman™, except it has a huge dick at rest below the belt and has no copyright.

I love Orion. It reminds me of winters spent in vermont. I look up and think 'there is my friend'. Other than that I have no affinity for any constellations. Odd.

Keltoi - Good advice from nipples. The biteguard made a world of difference when I started to get headaches from grinding my teeth. I sometimes wear a lighter one during the day if only just to help me be more aware of when I start to clench my teeth or grind them. The bruxism usually stops when I finally deal with whatever is stressing me at the time.

Thanks for the advice guys.. the doctors says it is high stress and gave me a script of vicadin and skelaxin (spelling) I was told to take those together as needed, the headache went away real fast after that but started to come back as the meds wore off. Hope everyone is having a happy new years eve, so far mine sucks rotten eggs and I am alone again and to make matters worse my 31st birthday is this Sunday, gosh getting old is great..

Orion's my favorite constellation. Really like the imagry that suggests that Orion is the constellation we see only in winter while Scorpio is just the opposite in the summer. Legend is that one chases the other in a cycle of the seasons. Scorpio because it sle Orion by biting him on the heel.

or...

Orion chases Scorpio to slay him for biting in the first place - or something like that....
