LUNAR ECLIPSE ON THE PLAYA!!!

Post by diane o'thirst » Mon Sep 25, 2006 5:19 pm

Tuesday, August 28, 2007 will see a deep, full-blown lunar eclipse over the Playa! YES!!!

Ahem. That having been said, I wish to announce my participation for next year. I will be conducting a howling workshop similar to Grady and Gamelan X's monkey chant workshops. Haven't nailed down a timeframe yet but probably in time for the eclipse and my camp director gave me the go-ahead to have it at Safer Sex Camp.

er, I'm a weresloth! Still, a lunar eclipse would be cool. I'll see if I can make it. (Hopefully next year I won't have bronchitis, a sinus infection, and dehydration, amongst other troubles! [I had an interesting doctor's visit after I got back-- although it did explain why I had so much trouble keeping the car between the yellow lines, and a few other things as well! :( ])

A howling sloth? I'm trying to visualize that.

I guess you'd do your first howl 24 hours after the workshop wraps up Image

You can have it both ways...you'll be able to see the eclipse from where you are.

If your kindergarten teacher's worth her salt, she'll probably have an eclipse party for the kids the day before.
