Spare a few seconds to help out a fellow burner?

Post by kinkycarrie » Wed Oct 11, 2006 10:46 am

Trying to keep myself entertained and the creative juices flowing 'til the next
Burning Man comes around (it'll be a long year!)

So I've directed, edited and produced my own video :)
Please check it out and vote for my video called "Fan on the Street Interview" - it's the one with the paper bag news reporter puppet.

Go to: http://www.windblows.us/?play=98
Register w/the site and you'll be able to log in & vote (the counter will increase after you've voted).

You can also check out some of my fire poi pics and my 'Dates for Votes'
campaign at http://www.myspace.com/fanonthestreet (anyone else have
any better ideas to boost my votes? :)

ugly dougly - No kidding - am still paying off BM 2004 :) Trying to find
creative ways to do so.
helitack - That's where my 'Dates for Votes' campaign comes into play - I'm offering a chance to win a date if you vote. If I win the contest, a person is chosen at random and I will take them to dinner at the place of their choosing. However, if the winner is not interested in dining with me, I will find them someone to go to dinner with who peaks their interest. Wanna vote ;) Any other ideas to try and help boost votes? Gotta start saving now for BM 2007

Well, since you mentioned it, there's this nice little restaraunt in Murren overlooking the glacier above Klien Schiedig,,,above Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. 8)

Yeah IMHO it's commerce. But it's also pretty damn cool to me, and the site sponsoring the first link kinda ties in to the BM 07 green theme. Perhaps the admins have Russian spammers selling big pharma stuff that is more worthy of pursuing.....

Tangent: I have yet to see a MySpace site that doesn't suck. I admit to having a site over there for about 2 weeks before I yanked it...the overall site sucked then and it doesn't seem to have gotten any better. For a Rupert Murdoch owned affair it certainly fails to exceed even my lowest expectations.
