Would that not be a dream job?

I get to travel the world over, and thought this was the shit until I did it. Then I met a whole crew of filmers in Indonesia. These guys and gals looked so relaxed, happy, well paid, tanned.

makes me want to trade careers.

Have watched the whole series a couple of times, and I LOVE IT! Absolutely beautiful to look at.

The photography is stunning! I've watched the first three so far. Shows like this should be shown in schools around the world.

The different perspectives on our planet are wonderful, and the way they did the filming, spectacular. I'm looking forward to the next 8 in the series.

Can you tell I liked it? :D

The episode I saw was filmed in Antarctica. In the darkest depths of winter. Oh buy.

It's absolutely amazing. What is they said? 30,000 hours of film? The thing with the baitfish and sailfish was pretty neat.

Maybe I should look into this "television" thing...? :P

(Oh, all right! I confess! I got suckered into watching a couple episodes of "Law and Order" tonight, but only because I was trying to keep track of the storm warnings! HONEST! )

Planet Earth in HDTV is breathtaking TV. My only wish and it's a small one was that some of that footage could have been filmed in IMAX. Still, it's incredible stuff.
