Well, until he returns from the store I suggest you check out http://www.heartlessbitches.com. That's what I read on a chilly fall evening when I want to frost up my old ticker and remember that there is a world full of clueless, whiney fucks that need lessons on how to deal with life by taking it into their own hands - or having the clues handed to them by a Heartless Bitch(TM).

Oh, dear. Feel better soon, Lydia....

(My ex-roommate makes something she calls "Evil Tea" involving most of the ingredients above when she's sick; if I can track down the "recipe" I'll share.)

I betcha I've had that tea...

The two missing indgredients are garlic and cayenne pepper... (and the version I've had didn't have the whiskey)

hot water, garlic, cayenne, lemon and honey. It's a taste treat. Actually it would be significantly improved by the whiskey i'm sure. At least you'd care less about it's gawdawful flavor.

The family friend who gave it me and my very sick parents called it "The Medicine" and served it with a certain... unbecoming glee, I thought at the time.

Diane,

Sure, I'll fix you a place at the table. What would you like to drink with your Fillet Menion, asparagus tips, fresh corn, tossed salad, mashed potatoes, homemade Irish Bannok bread, honey butter, and blueberry pie with homemade icecream for desert. Just follow your nose September 2nd.

Should I be worried that that was the exact order those items appeared in?

(And if you've got enough oil and balsamic after you've dressed the salad, might I suggest a baguette or two for dipping?)

Yup Purplekoosh, there will be enough along with enough for a little spirited fun on an inflatable mattress too! The order of the items, however unintentional, was a conjoining of several lists items I need to go get tonight... Never drink and shoot.. you might shoot your foot...

Strawberries, Keltoi. Lots and lots of strawberries. No sugar or dairy products added, just fresh raw strawberries.

Blackberries work as a secondary choice, blueberries third.
