First time down in the desert we rode on this big red bus, everyone got along save for this whiny hippy chick.

She had a solar oven, she built it herself, when we got there the glass had shattered.

She threw such a hissy (hippy?) fit accusing everyone of conspiring; eventually we figured out it was her own damn yurt dome that fell on it.

Dashboard Nachos.

Use a clean 5 gal. bucket lid or extra large upside down frisbee. Cover with tortilla chips, throw shredded cheese at it liberally, and things like sliced olives and diced chiles. Set it on your dashboard in full sun, When the cheese melts, add a side of salsa or maybe Guac or sour cream, dip, munch, enjoy.

I love Manifold Stew! My brother's Chevy Nova made an excellent oven.

I remember cooking all kinds of stuff under the hood "back in the day"
However, we tried to cook a small brisket on the Jeep manifold in `05 drove around Chaco Canyon all day, then up to Moab and still the meat was raw.

Great Idea. Last year I tried the same thing but with a Kurt Vonnegut novel. Melted the book in half by the end of the week (rented SUV.... boo-ya).

Anyonw for Hocus Pocus Nachos???
