Departure after the Burn

Post by Gingher » Wed Aug 08, 2007 3:04 pm

Here's the dilema:
Phoenix is a 14 hour drive, and with the six hour wait to get out that's a long haul!

When do you guys think it's better to leave A) Right after the Man burns, B) the next morning C) The night of the second burn (Sunday) or D) Monday sometime--as far as not having to wait as long in the line to leave. (I understand the fact that everyone filters in on the way there over the course of the week, and that we have but two days to leave)

I gotta teach school Tuesday evening, so keep that 14 hour drive in mind....

Thank you thank you and I look forward to toasting and dancing with you in just a few short weeks!!
Yeeehaaaw!

Sunday morning is usually a breeze, line-wise. Sunday night is alright, providing you break camp during daylight. Have bigass lights for deMooping your area. Monday day sucks the most.

What we do: We put up with Monday because we can, but still stay in Reno until Tuesday morning before the drive to Utah. With trailers that can take up to 12 hours and we insist on rested drivers.
