across street from med station 9 towards the man was a great bar staffed with the best people - complete with swag shot glasses, tall ones at that.

Moonshine was their draw, potent at that.

thats my favorite bar.

My favorite was hands down and tits up The Booby Bar, just off the 3:00 plaza. The drinks were strong, the people were just plain wrong, and nobody cared that I was wearing my thong.

The Booby Bar for me, without question. IMHO it's the finest establishment on the playa, firmly above the rest, with a rather perky spirit too.

Please can someone construct a billboard outside of Reno, advertising the BoobyBar with that consumer quote in bold letters?

I made it to Moonshine once, loved it. Never made it to Booby even though it was on my "to do" list. We all know how that goes.

My favorite was, as always, Fandango. Strong ass "what the fuck" drinks with a "what the fuck" attitude. And they'll walk away if you try to gift 'em crap. I have had so much fun here I don't remember most of it.

I've never enjoyed a bar on the playa until the Moonshine Tavern. That place was FANTASTIC!

I was rather fond of Bad Idea Theater in the 3:00 key - wonderful alcoholic punch, and bad movies on the big screen....

Bad Idea Theater was awesome, gawd knows what was in that punch they were serving. I went a couple of nights to watch some REALLY bad films and laughed my ass off for hours.

But the best bar was definately The Booby Bar, although I'm probably just biased.

Although I too think the Booby Bar was the best bar on the Playa,... ( it was my camp)

For the sake of a more fair representation of things it should be disclosed that the Booby Bar was the second year incarnation of The E-playa Bar. That Bar, and Theme camp was put together from people who frequented the “Barâ€

There are approximately 1,000,489, 231 sand bars on the playa. Each is unique and distinct in itself. Abberant wind patterns and art car cuffs create this constantly changing condition.

I think I 've been to all of them except two or three.
The bar at the mile high club looked like fun, but every
time I saw it , everyone onboard was already high.

Come on, Boob Idea theatre, we need the boobies or the apoks to loan me to you for some sort of special "I shook hands with danger" event, where I can wave my skin grafts in spectators' faces. Or something...

B(.)(.)by bar by far for me, but then again I didnt venture out from behind the bar much to check out many others.

I had an absolute blast serving drinks under the warm glow of a lighted areola.

Didn't find it last year...but the Crow Bar was awesome, shots of only good stuff and you keep the little shot glasses with the guzzling crows on them. Roams around on the playa, bike drawn. Carried around smoked salmon for two years trying to find them again.
The ZamZam for funny slipnslide, beautiful ladies on the whipping post (the Duck Pond). And here's to all the bars with live music.
