Yes. Being a very liberal democrat living in rural Wyoming counts. My other experience was teaching science and math in the interior of Borneo.

TPBM has contemplated mince meat pie but ended up saying "maybe not"

Yes! It is so confusing. If its a meat pie, it should be savory! I still haven't tried one.

TPBM is going to leave Halloween decorations up till Thanksgiving.

No. Had to work. Didn't put any up.
TPBM is planning a very nontraditional Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm a vegetarian (and I don't do tofurkey), it will definitely be something non-traditional. Don't know what yet though.

I might have my mom over.

Last year I thought about orphans, but couldn't find any.

Not even close. I'm watching and waiting and dreaming of a soaking wet winter that builds slowly (giving the ground time to start soaking in the water) and ends up with 100+ feet of snow on the Sierras (I can dream). This drought sucks.

Yes. Bright bleeding red that will turn a white towel pink in the wash with a trap door in the back. I also have a set of silk long johns (top and bottom) that feel really really good.

TPBM can tell me why a pair of socks go into the wash and an orphan sock comes out of the dryer.

Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are the only paid holidays I get.

TPBM is lucky enough to work for the government, get off and get paid for the federal holidays.

Yeah! I work for the state (DOT)..
If it wasn't for the time off I get, (For instance the second pay period in January I'll have over 800hrs of sick time that I'll probably and hopefully never have use) I'd much rather be in the private sector.

TPBM isn't very fond of traffic circles/roundabouts that are popping up like pimples on a 14yr old seemingly every time an intersection gets a facelift

I haven't seen any traffic circles in the Bay Area. They wouldn't work at all in Southern Ca.

Yes, they are my, "woods rambling clothes", old jeans, t-shirt, red rain slicker, snake leggings, boots and hunter orange hat.

TPBM lives in a large city, in an apartment and doesn't know what real dirty clothes are. :)

Close-- that was one of the reasons I decided yesterday to come back on here after more than months-- more like a year or five. This time of year up here in the Great Lakes area of the Snow Belt hot, dusty, desert sounds pretty good.

TPBM does not live in the Snow Belt and is happy about it.

Based on this map, NO! And yes I'm happy about it. But we're expecting a few inches tonight. And we had about 4in two weeks ago, which is more than we got all last winter

Yes - but my version of "nice" would be a steady, non-stop rain. Until, say, March.
