Well, C187, there is a thread in Experiences at Burning Man. It has some great posts in it. Some are so darn funny!!

tpbm got an email that made them laugh so hard they spit coffee all over the computer!

I got a hilarious email from my neighbour who can't string a weed eater...
Actually, that's not true, and my answer to both of your posts is "no." But now I kind of wish it were true.

TPBM went for a run this morning.

Sure. When I was in the Navy, you could search the microfiche data base for parts by number or nomenclature. I needed a gasket for a KY-3 door. No numbers. So as I searched for gaskets, I found "Wide Seal". It was the brand name used for diaphragms, the female birth control devices. I hope that was sufficiently nautical as to not disappoint.

TPBM loves a smart-ass.

Fishy: My power to summon you to this thread is astonishing. I need to figure out how to use it for good...

I do love smart-asses, but only if they're actually smart.

TPBM discovered a new fetish at BM this year and has been furiously downloading porn ever since.

Yeah, all those girls with balaclavas...
Wait! I can't down load anything. My internet isn't working, and I'm not down-loading that at work!

TPBM always wonders if I'm going to remember to post a new statement, and finds that increases dramatic tension.

Yes, and maybe a little. I mean, the bar on this thread is pretty low. If I want real dramatic tension, there are better places on ePlaya to go....

TPBM has an overdue library book to return, but it's been overdue for so long that they're kind of too ashamed to face the librarians.

If by "picked out a Hallowe'en costume" you mean, won't wear anything special--just like the past two decades, then yes.
TPBM works in a place with a lot of holloween stuff going on.

Never been on a cruise, and frankly the idea of an all-inclusive, floating prison resort kind of turns me off. Plus, I think buffets are kinda gross.
TPBM knows they could convince me otherwise with some good cruise-food porn.

I liked the cruises I went on as a kid in the 60s, old Matson Line luxury liners. Yes, the food was spectacular and unlimited. Menus in French. No buffets unless you went to breakfast on the fantail. Matson only does freight now. Larry isn't interested, too much time haze gray and underway.

No to the massage, and no to the food porn, although the on-board massages might convince Cat of all sorts fo things.
TPBM is impressed when someone joins the two hanging statements very neatly. (Which this, alas, doesn't qualify as.)
