No. I'm getting myself off "processed meats".
tpbm thinks that's okay--I'm not going to the event anymore.

Nope. Too many family get togethers, ...fried chicken, potato salad, fried okra, butter beans, corn, peas, tomatoes, brownies and blueberry glazed cake.

TPBM thinks people from the south can and will fry anything edible.

I was born in the South - I know they will.

Yes, with plenty of butter and crumbled bacon, spooned onto toast.

TPBM wonders why southerners measure distance in time. Oh, it's about a two hour drive.

Yeah we're I'm from people do that, it makes more sense and gives you a clearer idea I think. Where I'm from in Australia has some similarities to the south. Except it's north...

TPBM enjoys bagels regularly

Not as much as I want - only one place in SF makes them the way I like them (boiled, then baked - you know, a bagel, not round bread), and it takes 45 minutes via bus ride & walk each way.

tpbm also has a food they'll only get from one place

Cream buns! The cream in cream buns from Walker's Bakery in Townsville, in North Queensland where I grew up is unlike any other cream EVER. My mum sometimes posts them to my on my birthday :)

TPBM has a pet they're getting someone to look after while they're at TTITD

I have 3 cats I'm going to be worried sick about while I'm gone!

I mean like, irrational, turn the RV around and go home worried. I'm terrified it's going to put a tarnish on my burn if I let it get to me :(

crazy for sure I know. My best friend 2 blocks away is gonna check on the house and practically move in but still he's not a cat person and my kitties are all old, set in their ways kitties that don't take to other people very well.

Nope. But I am already worried about getting back home.
TPBM wants to point out to Jovenkat that just like the American south, the Austrailian north is closer to the equator than the rest of the country.

Ha! We moved when I was three (Austin to Berkeley) and I visited my grandmother in Austria when I was 6 or 3 or something and we spent a year in Cambridge (stock piling King's College Rowing Club Scarfs) when I was eight and nine. And there was a trip to Buffalo, too, in there.
tpbm shamelessly name drops in the default world.
