I don't know if it's technically a phobia, but I find popcorn utterly revolting - especially the stuff with artificial butter. The smell of it has actually made me vomit in the past, and just typing this is making me queasy (and I'm not joking). The only place I don't seem to have trouble with the smell is in a movie theater - anywhere else and you'll see me move quickly away.

yes. A cousin to the dust bunny - ice bunnies.

TPBM is an adventurous eater. Trying something new rather than denying it immediately.

I am an odd combination, fussy and (somewhat) novelty seeking. I think I've hit the trifecta on the cilantro/soap thing, the beer/soap thing, and the bitter cruciferous thing, which does have me tip toeing around a lot of things. But I get bored easily. And it's sort of a balancing act for me. I only just, in my late forties, began to really like cheese. Heck, at least I'm still growing. Like a cancer?

The person below me just had someone leave (resign, retire, fired, etc.) their place of work.

Hell, I'm not even tempted by bacon-infused chocolate chip cookies, so popular on the Playa these years. (And, I LOVE chocolate chip cookies!)
There's nothing you could do to make me put that in my mouth.

TPBM won't even consider going to a vegetarian restaurant.

I wake quickly, and do my best work in the morning. I find that living alone keeps me from knowing some of these "truths" about myself, since being around other people always adds another element and wham, well, I guess I didn't know that one after all. I am a solo early morning person, I guess.

I've always needed a bit of breakfast. My go to is now an egg and a slice of whole grain toast, with fruit or juice a couple hours later.

TPBM is awash in prepping and packing lists.

Yep. Had a near dust experience yesterday when I cleaned up the tool box I take to TTITD. Got the art gallery together but still working on the ticket thing.

TPBM had an awesome set of lights on their bike, but they broke and didn't work the first day at BM?

Close. The bike and lights vanished in the dust on my first day. But now I have another and more lights. Even thinking of rigging a long boom or fishing pole off the bike with a mirror ball hanging from it. At night it will be a little pedal powered rolling mini disco. Yes, of course it will be a 21 and up thing as I will be serving drinks.

If 'dressing for success' means 'having all that you need to be comfortably fabulous', then yes.

Not even close. I'll start picking up booze this week, probably, and maybe some Trader Joes food. I don't get frantic until the week we leave.

On a conscious level I don't . . . but on an unconscious level I might, because that's how my clothes get packed every time! (The other stuff I'm much better about).

The person below me is trying out new equipment this year and will tell me about it.

Eric, the smell of microwave popcorn does the same thing to me! . . . It smells like bile. I think it's the diacetyl (the substance that gives popcorn manufacturing workers "popcorn lung").
