No, I'm horrible at keeping in touch with people. I'm going to be proactive & work to rekindle future lost relationships. It's never to late (or early) to start.

TPBM is contemplating the impact of legalized Marijuana in Nevada & thinking about setting up a roadside brownie stand in Fernley. Gifting them of course.........

Nope. Probably a bad idea. (Not that I don't follow up on bad ideas.)

Better, yes, but such a relative term. Better than last year before all the surgeries. Not better than a few weeks ago when it was still warm.

TPBM has a lot to do this time of year, but will blow half of it off.

Does throwing a bottle of booze into my backpack to smuggle into a theater for a friends birthday count?

Going out to a movie is out. Staying in for a movie is in. There is a "Pause" button, clean toilet facility, fabulous snack bar that has hot cocoa, recliner lounging, blankets, pillows, cozy fireplace, rambunctious foreplay if the movie is boring, and nobody sitting next to me coughing, sneezing, or texting.

TPBM is tired of the snow already

Nah, I'm not tired of snow at all. We got just 2 inches of snow this year so far, and it was wonderful. I'm hopeful we might get more in a week.

I haven't driven a motorized vehicle since 1998 (and haven't had a licence since '91), so I'd be pretty oblivious no matter which lane I was in.

You're right. Especially since my job requires me to have a CDL. And I work in Reno and drive 35 miles to work each way every day.
But think of the money Eric and others have saved by not buying gas, annual vehicle registration, license renewal and the headache of increasing traffic.

I don't know what DEF means.

My daily driver is a 72 hardtop bikini Blazer.

Eight miles to the gallon.
She's a VillageVehicle.

Her name is Beulah.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
Basically its pig pee. Some egghead from CARB (California Air Resource Board) discovered that mixing minute droplets of pig pee as well as some chemicals, in a controlled manner into the fuel somehow creates less emissions. Why didn't I think of that? Manditory on all diesel powered vehicles from a VW Golf to a Peterbilt truck manufactured after I think 2011. Which jacks the price up.

Yes. I've had my one quart this year. (I cut it with milk.) It's below freezing outside. That's a big deal. There will be lots of yellow shrubs and dead flowers. I realized last night that Californians don't have a clue how to dress for cold weather. I've been handing out fleece scarves and gloves to our valets, security guards and to one homeless chap in half a blanket.

I live in Wisconsin so I get extreme weather every hour on the hour (Meh). I don't even notice it anymore.
