I do indeed. I have been thinking about taking a trek west next year for some 4th of Juplaya fun, including a jaunty trek down jungo rd.

tpbm can tell me how many spare tires I will need for my truck taking jungo rd.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

I believe the answer to that is always n+1.

TPBM can tell me how to get a bike from San Diego to Reno, even though I and all the rest of my gear are coming from points east...

So that's who he was!
TPBM had to go to the store today for a necessary barbecue type item.

No, but went to gather intel on some BM items (comparison-shopping for a new cooler, mostly), so that was kind of like the same thing?

TPBM put off buying sparklers too long and they were sold out everywhere. Bummer.

I don't even know where to buy fireworks.
TPBM doesn't know where to buy cheap fishnet stockings.

Oh, but I do know! There are a number of stores on Yonge Street that sell them remarkably cheap.

TPBM knows the magic for keeping fishnet stockings intact beyond one wear.

To tell you the truth, me, fishnet--there's history there.
TPBM has history with plums.

Yes. A wasp and I decided to take a bite of the same plum at the same time. My eyes were closed, so I didn't see him (her?). That's when I learned I have an anaphylactic reaction to their stings.

TPBM likes that poem about the plums in the icebox and how delicious it feels to say plum.

I don't know the poem, but I do like "Bernie Gunther"'s use of "plum" as a name for womanly bits.
TPBM is adding that to her/his "Big List of Euphemisms".

I had to re-read that because I agreed it was an addition to my big book of ephemera. But I'm not sure one would have a book of ephemera... that would be oxymoronic I think.

um... plum, always reminds me of a murder suspect.

Raspberries... fresh raspberries at the fruit market these days.

(And, yes, my big book of euphemisms has been updated. It's woefully sparse, that book. Shockingly, I never had "Pink Cadillac" in there until just the other day. I know!)

TPBM can tell me at least one other euphemism that's also a Barbie toy.

Sadly, no. I'm stuck in muumuus. Although I could make a new one.

Does my sister and her family showing up for a week count? If so then yes I am. Now next week I am expecting fun things for TTITD to be delivered.

tpbm is feeling like they are way behind on getting ready for their trip.

nope but then again I am a professional procrastinator! I know that it will all get done in time even if that includes the last minute scramble.

Bwahahahahaha!
I am not organized at all. I guess I have brief, intense bursts of radical organization. They usually end in tears.... or at least a whimper of resignation.

I haven't a -- no, I won 't go there.
But it would be very hypocritical of me to be annoyed with anyone else for that particular peccadillo.

TPBM always thought peccadillo sounded more like a species of bird than anything else.

remember learning in High School about the LaMarckian theories of evolution that predated Darwin and thinking they were stolen from children's stories. And now I see things about this new epigenetics, and it makes me think there was a kernel of truth to it all along.
