Never learned to play an instrument. That's why I have to burn off all my energy in wordplay.
TPBM is named after a composer or musician.

I would. I haven't been to the gym in over a month, on account of The Cough That Won't Die, and it's sad to see all the muscles I had built over the past year wasting away... :(

TPBM is going to sleep in freshly-washed sheets tonight.

I shower when I wake up and if it I go to the gym, or it's hot outside (you get the picture), I'll shower in the evening.

tpbm took a nice evening walk tonight..

I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of it. I feel it like everyone else. But my overwhelming inclination to feel guilty all the time prevents me from thoroughly enjoying it.
TPBM thoroughly enjoyed a guilty pleasure on YouTube this afternoon.

Uh, yeah, now it's my turn to face an unknown word.
*Runs off to see Dr. Google about it. Falls into a Wikipedia rabbit hole.*
...
*Emerges from rabbit hole slightly dirty and rather confused. Nerd glasses are still on, but they're a little bent.*
Huh. Thanks to knowmad, I've learned some new words, like viatmer. I think the relationship between vitamers and vitamins parallels that between allophones and phonemes in linguistics, so that's cool. Using cyanocobalalalala... in my thesis is going to be tricky, though. Maybe I'll sneak it into the final copy after I've passed the defense and revisions.

TPBM is going to drink some cheap wine tonight in honour of his/her new friend, "Dr. Plonk".

I'm gonna say no, because I can't think of one right now, and I'm not generally a sports fan. As soon as I hit "submit," I'll remember that there totally is one, and that I'd forgotten about it because... well, four years is a lot longer than my attention span. But no, I don't really think there is.

TPBM nerds out on a Commonwealth Games sport which has not made the Olympic cut.

I hate sports. They are so annoying, and I really don't like all that rah, rah stuff that the Olympics embody.
TPBM was as shocked as I was to see that Cat didn't remember Canada's national obsession: curling...
