No...reminds me too much of Texas Toast..which I never got..Growing up in Texas, our toast was the same as it was back in California. WTF!!?

TPBM really overdid it on sweet breakfasts as a child and is permanently scarred.

I'm a child of the 70s, of course I over-did it with the sweets (Fruity Pebbles... ). I much prefer savory breakfasts now.

There are somethings you just don't put eggs on. So no. I eat whatever I want at breakfast. And cold pizza (refrigerator cold) is at the top of the list of things I like for breakfast.

TPBM likes the new mickey D breakfast sandwiches that have eggs without the yolk.

It seems to me that they should have a lower price since they have taken something out.

No, I make my own version of those and there's no way McDonalds could ever do better than me: Jalapeño bagels, sliced and toasted with cheddar melted on, nitrate-free bacon and garlic/basil scrambled eggs. You won't need to eat for 8 hours.

The person below me is appalled.

Not eating for 8 hours borders on the sacrilegious!

I'm not sure if it's the nuttiness, the sweetness of the chocolate or the refreshing coolness of the ice cream but true it is.

absolutely. The season is too short but Flathead Lake bing cherries are a suitable substitute.

The money wouldn't be a problem, you can hire financial advisers. People coming out of the woodwork to put demands on you for the money.... that would be troublesome. I'd have it all locked up in a trust.

With that many vertebrae fused together the accident must have been horrific. The medical bill, I assume, was eye popping and I hope the little fella had good insurance. Just to have that creature still with us is a miracle for all of us. Yes.

I'm not sure whether it's a bona fide like, it's more out of necessity due to lack of time. I catch up on newspapers (often several days old by the time I get to them) generally if I'm grabbing breakfast or lunch at home and do my book reading when I'm on break which sometimes leads to a smudge or two on the book. That drives me absolutely bonkers, if there's one thing I have more respect for than food it's books (oh and I'm kind of a sloppy eater.... holdover from toddler days).

TPBM has been known to read cookbooks on occasion.

no computer in the kitchen, but it's a studio, so I guess you could technically say that I'm in the kitchen now if we are talking about counting up walls as a requirement for a "room." I'm not a recipe reader as I cook. I like getting ideas, and watch some cooking shows on PBS, for ideas, and methods. I believe there's a tremendous margin for success in cooking, and usually trust to that.
