Newly sober burner seeks burner-friendly Bay Area meetings

A good friend of mine, also a burner, is feeling despondent about his local NA meetings in the Half Moon Bay area. The meetings don't have the same warm environment he experienced during his initial recovery process - nobody is particularly friendly, nobody hugs one another, and everyone is really down on themselves and negatively focused on their past, instead of looking to the future.

Can anyone recommend one or more SF Bay Area meetings that have this kind of loving, friendly atmosphere?

Other suggestions (groups that meet which aren't specifically NA but may nonetheless be therapeutic or just good clean fun on some way) are welcome as well!
