URGENT Help Needed - Lawyers for Burners/Legal Contacts?

Can anyone help with an email address for anyone related to Lawyers For Burners or any other lawyer/firm that might be able to help out my friends that got into some unecessary trouble with the BLM Rangers on the playa.

They have been left quite truamatized by the whole experience and we think the rangers were totally out of line. Can anyone help our friends get the justice they deserve.

They filled out the form on the Lawyers for Burners website, but have not gotten any response.

Is there anyone out there who can help?

you'll have to post some particulars so an attorney knows if they can help or not.

That's not true and it's really bad fucking advice - especially about posting specifics of a case on a public board.

LavaLava, if you or your friends have made contact with the group http://lawyersforburners.com/site/ then I suspect they'll be getting back as soon as possible. I'm sure everyone is a bit anxious but it's important to keep in mind that this small group of legal professionals do this on a volunteer basis and, like a lot of folks just getting back from the playa, have a good deal of personal business to attend to.

I'd also suggest that your friends contact the Nevada ACLU for Northern Nevada:

They may be able to render some assistance as far as putting your friends in touch with counsel. I know they were present during the event as a result of the BLM law enforcement's egregious behavior last year. Can't say for sure that any of this will help but it might be worth trying a few phone calls.

Wasnt suggesting names or anything like that -

I was thinking more along the lines of -

"A friend was arrested for Drug Posession - 6 joints"
or
"I got nipped for DUI at Burnignman"
or
"I was drunk and got a ticket for shitting on the playa"
or
"My old lady and I got tagged for Domestic Violence"

Theres a few things I will do in court and other issues I am not comfortable with.

So your right Iso - dont spell out your whole case, but when asking for a help a modicum of information about what you need saves time for all.

Its cool if you do it on newsprint right? Just so it dont soak through and touch the playa.

There were a few busts like this outside the entrance. I'm trying to find out some information on another bust that occurred right after this group of people just got though the greeter station. They think some of the Greeters were actually Narcs

I don't want to get into any detail here.
I think there is a drugs related charge....
If anyone knows anyone who can help we can discuss it further, but I don't really want put it here.
I will say that the whole situation was handled very strongly and poorly on behalf of BLM and we hope for some justice....
