Since 401-K-s are shot to hell I'll be counting on my w-o-r-K plan to see me through. The fellow I bought my shop from his dad came one morning and lit the forge, came over all funny, spent the day sitting by the stove keeping warm and then went home and died in his sleep from the stroke he'd had that morning.

That's not too bad. Had a good run, took care of his family, and left a good business to his son. I should do that well.

You just thought of a way to save our economy. Too bad it won't be implemented.

What nonsence. How is anyone going to be able to buy? Or do I sell to you and you get your money by selling to Simon who gets his from selling to fciron who gets his to sell to me?

oh no fishy, it's all free....i gift it to you, and everybody else, and then we shall all be high....and when the munchies kick in...

now it's up to the butchers and bakers and candlestick makers to set the table for dinner...the fishermen shall bring the fish, and the vintners will bring the wine...

i'm also good with a sewing machine, and can play a mean kazoo.

it's not bartering, it's contributing, it's gifting.

(i know it smells a little like communism, but that's just because it has'nt showered...)

but really, what will money be used for if it's "worthless"?

it's way too scratchy for toilet paper.

I was planning to retire in a third-world country, so I was saving my money and learning Spanish.

Shit. For a few years, I made some money online in non-SEC sanctioned "investments" using metal-based currencies, but then the guvmint in all its wisdom cracked down on the payment systema and declared everything to be a ponzi scheme. Well, we know how good THEY are at looking out for the interests of Americans now!

I was going to retire to San Miguel de Allende and live like a queen on less than a thousand dollars a month. "Dos Dos Quis, por favor!"
