Human Chow?

Post by Ugly Dougly » Tue Jan 06, 2009 11:39 am

So they have "Puppy Chow" and "Monkey Chow", why not "Human Chow"? A crunchy, tasty treat with all the essential ingredients for a healthy humanoid diet.

Maybe barbeque-flavored granola with bits of real meat?

Your recipes are urgently required. ;)

I'll be in line for that.

...And some moldy barley bread and a bit of "potable" water for the camp helpers...

Jamie from Mythbusters makes (or used to, at least) this stuff called 444 - 4 types of grain, 4 types of vegetable, and 4 types of fruit all liquified. There used to be a thread about it on the show's forum where he goes into more detail but it appears to be gone now. I seem to remember him saying he made it in big batches and adds a bottle of wine to act as a preservative. Then it all goes into ziplock bags and gets frozen. He thaws it out then drinks it straight out of a hole cut in the bag, much to the horror of those around him.

Now there's SPAM with bacon in it....

...that's all. Okay, and maybe some water so you don't get cranky. no, on second thought, PBR has water IN it. Now, if you dissolved the SPAM in the PBR....it'd be better than Brawndo!

Too sweet. How about a generous helping of chili powder to boot? :)
