Millions of doses of COVID19 vaccine shipped by Trump WH/HHS are missing. Nobody knows why yet.
In the meantime, places like South Florida:
- Fisher Island (median income $200,000) has a 51% vaccination rate
- Opa-Locka (median income $27,000) has a 1.4% vaccination rate
Los Angeles situation here is dire. Ambulances circle for hours, unable to find ERs that can accept patients. Hospitals running out of O2. ICU capacity at zero. Patients lie in hallways & tents. National Guard has arrived to manage the flood of bodies.

Perhaps the clearest evidence comes in the form of freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), best known as a believer in the lunatic QAnon conspiracy theory. It turns out that before she ran for office, she posted likes and comments on Facebook indicating support for murdering several Democratic politicians, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. She also endorsed yet more conspiracy theories: one that Clinton had cut off the face of a baby, worn it, and drank its blood as part of a Satanic ritual, another that the 2018 California wildfires were started by a space laser, and another that the Parkland mass shooting was a false flag hoax. Video emerged of her chasing down one of the survivors of the attack, David Hogg, on Capitol Hill in 2019, yelling at him that she was carrying a gun and pelting him with crackpot accusations as he walks away.

So not only is Dominion suing Rudy Giuliani for $1.3 Billion because of his lies, The Lincoln Project is also set to sue him as well for the same reason at the same time he’s under criminal investigation. Needless to say he’ll be going through some things.
The Lincoln Project released a strongly worded letter to Rudy Guiliani, demanding a retraction and full apology following the lies he spewed during a podcast with Steve Bannon last week, claiming The Lincoln Project had involvement in the January 6, 2021 insurrection.

Steve Bannon may still have to face justice for allegedly defrauding Trump supporters — even though the twice-impeached former president gave him a last-minute pardon.

Investigators in Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance Major Economic Crimes Bureau are in early discussions to figure out if Bannon broke any state laws, which wouldn’t be covered by a presidential pardon, the Washington Post reported, citing two people with knowledge of the matter.

Bannon was charged by federal prosecutors in Manhattan last year with defrauding thousands of Trump supporters who donated to a “We Build the Wall” charity ostensibly set up to fund a Mexico border wall. Bannon, Brian Kolfage, Andrew Badolato, and Timothy Shea raised more than $25 million in donations, and while some of the cash did go toward the wall construction, Bannon and his cronies pocketed more than $1 million, federal prosecutors had alleged.

Kolfage, Badolato and Shea weren’t lucky enough to score a Trump pardon.

Last month, Law360 reported that Trump’s pardon was written in a way that may leave Bannon vulnerable to wire and mail fraud in the same criminal case.

Pro-Trump lawyer L. Lin Wood might lead the way to a case of voter fraud in Georgia after all.

The Trump ally who filed a fraud lawsuit to block Georgia’s election certification is now the subject of an investigation into whether he himself was a legal Georgia voter during the 2020 presidential election.

“I have been domiciled in South Carolina for several months after purchasing property in the state in April,” Wood said in an email to WSB-TV reporter Justin Gray.

Led by Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a former professor of constitutional law, the managers laid out Trump’s refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election and his incitement of a violent mob to stop Congress from confirming the victory of Joseph Biden in the election. They note that Trump bears “singular responsibility” for the tragedy of January 6 and dismiss his argument that the Senate cannot convict him now because he is no longer in office, countering that such an understanding would give a president “a free pass to commit high crimes and misdemeanors near the end of their term.”

The managers detailed Trump’s deliberate attempt to convince his followers of a lie: that he won the election in a “landslide,” and that Democrats had “stolen” the apparent victory. They say he “amplified these lies at every turn, seeking to convince supporters that they were victims of a massive electoral conspiracy that threatened the Nation’s continued existence.” But the courts rejected his arguments, and state and federal officials refused to cave to his demands that they break the law to alter the election results. So Trump announced a “Save America Rally,” urging his supporters to come to Washington, D.C., to “fight” for his reelection. He promised the rally would be “wild.”

Trump, they note, “spent months insisting to his base that the only way he could lose the election was a dangerous, wide-ranging conspiracy against them that threatened America itself.” He urged them to stop the counting on January 6, “by making plans to ‘fight like hell’ and ‘fight to the death’ against this ‘act of war’ by ‘Radical Left Democrats’ and the ‘weak and ineffective RINO section of the Republican Party.’”

On January 6, he urged his supporters to go to the Capitol to stop what he called the massive fraud taking place there. He told them, “if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

Carrying Trump flags, the mob marched to the Capitol and broke in, searching specifically for Vice President Mike Pence, whom Trump blamed for counting the votes accurately, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. One shouted, “What are we waiting for? We already voted and what have they done? They stole it! We want our f*cking country back! Let’s take it!” Others shouted, “Hang Mike Pence!” and “Tell Pelosi we’re coming for that b*tch.”

Allegedly “delighted” at the interruption to the vote count, Trump retweeted a video of his rally speech telling his supporters to be “strong” and, even as Pence and his family were hiding from the violent mob, tweeted, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution.” This sent the mob into a frenzy.

Then, while the Senate was evacuated, Trump tried to reach the new senator from Alabama, Tommy Tuberville, to urge him to continue to delay the counting of the electoral votes.

“many House Republicans began disrespecting our heroes by refusing to adhere to basic precautions keeping members of our congressional community safe — including by dodging metal detectors, physically pushing past police, and even attempting to bring firearms into the chamber.”

“It is beyond comprehension why any member would refuse to adhere to these simple, commonsense steps to keep this body safe,”

More consequences faced due to their lies...
A voting technology company is suing Fox News, three of its hosts and two former lawyers for former President Donald Trump — Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell — for $2.7 billion, charging that the defendants conspired to spread false claims that the company helped “steal” the U.S. presidential election.

The 285-page complaint filed Thursday in New York state court by Florida-based Smartmatic USA is one of the largest libel suits ever undertaken. On Jan. 25, a rival election-technology company — Dominion Voting Systems, which was also ensnared in Trump’s baseless effort to overturn the election — sued Guiliani and Powell for $1.3 billion.

Unlike Dominion, whose technology was used in 24 states, Smartmatic’s participation in the 2020 election was restricted to Los Angeles County, which votes heavily Democratic.

Smartmatic’s limited role notwithstanding, Fox aired at least 13 reports falsely stating or implying the company had stolen the 2020 vote in cahoots with Venezuela’s socialist government, according to the complaint. This alleged “disinformation campaign” continued even after then-Attorney General William Barr said the Department of Justice could find no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

The complaint also alleges that Fox hosts Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro also directly benefitted from their involvement in the conspiracy. The lawsuit alleges that Fox went along with the “well-orchestrated dance” due to pressure from newcomer outlets such as Newsmax and One America News, which were stealing away conservative, pro-Trump viewers.

According to the Associated Press, there are proposals in Arkansas, Iowa, and Mississippi (it’s always Mississippi) to ban The 1619 Project, a New York Times project spearheaded by Pulitzer Prize and MacArthur “genius grant” winner Nikole Hannah-Jones, from being taught in schools.

“The idea of simply saying you’re not going to use certain materials because you don’t like what they’re going to say without input from professionals makes no sense," said James Grossman, executive director of the American Historical Association.

A little over four weeks ago, white people killed a cop, in the name of a sitting American president, on federal property, in the country that invented blue lives matter, and most people don't even know the officer's name.
One of the attackers, a man wearing a white & blue hat and a green jacket, reached into the doorway, grabbed an officer and dragged him out, aided by a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt. As they pulled the officer down the stairs, face down, another rioter beat him with an American flag as the mob chanted "USA! USA! USA!"
And in beating the police officers, they trampled and killed one of their own.
And, these same white people are Trump supporters — as I believe the policeman they murdered was.
Every time I think about people who apparently want to die (or at least waste their lives) for a reality TV show host, I have to remind myself that their cult of personality is largely predicated on what he stands for: violent capitalist white supremacy.
And no one has been arrested for the murder...

The lack of defense seems to be mounting. This morning, Jason Stanley of Just Security called attention to the film shown at the January 6 rally just after Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani spoke. Stanley explained how it was an explicitly fascist film, designed to show the former president as a strong fascist leader promising to protect Americans against those who are undermining the country: the Jews. Stanley also pointed out that, according to the New York Times, the rally was “a White House production” and that Trump was deeply involved with the details.

Ranging in diversity from the immensely insightful James Baldwin to the collossally creative Charlie Chaplin, we have always had people who understood.
Problem is, we failed to teach this understanding to the masses -- the devastatingly dimwitted who need to understand it.

Charlie Chaplin fully anticipated Mr. Trump:

The lawsuit accused Dobbs of having been "one of the primary proponents" of a "disinformation campaign" against Smartmatic.

Smartmatic's lawsuit identified multiple instances in which Dobbs' program promoted conspiracy theories about the 2020 election results and said that his behavior was "contrary to his public persona" of being a "provider of factual information" to his viewers.

Not only did Dobbs allow guests to defame Smartmatic, the lawsuit said, but he "took the initiative and contributed additional falsehoods to the narrative."

On the attempted insurrection storming of the Capitol Horned-Hat-Guy (Self-Described-"Shaman").
"The spiritual and ceremonial importance of horned headdresses to the Plains Indians was similar to that of feathered warbonnets. Only distinguished male warriors wore this sacred kind of regalia."
Usually referred to as "the dipshit in the buffalo hat", some Natives have given "dipshit in the buffalo hat" an Indian Name:

What did he keep saying in the Capitol building. "I'd like to speak to the manager."

Headline" "Indian Princess storms the Capitol".

When seen in the Capitol on the news. "Hey. You need to go get your cousin".

What did his mom say to him when he was on his way to jail? Bison...

We the Sioux do not claim this one, so we pass him on to the Ponca, they will be better at raising him.
- The Osage don't claim him either.
- Hopis don't claim him either.
- Ojibwe's won't take him.
- We the Paiute/Shoshone don't want this thing either.
- Again on behalf of all the Anishinaabe tribes, keep him away from us, he won't make it.
- From the Cherokee we see enough fakes claiming to be princesses. Send him to someone else.
- The Southern Cheyenne and Northern Cheyennes will decline offer.
- The AUNTIES don't claim him either.
- Will trade for a block of commodity cheese and some cigarettes.
- There's always that one white dude dressed like this at powwows.
