I havent slept in a few days. I have never trusted medical doctors, but Im willing to try something "new".
Its day/night 12 without sleep.
Now here's the good news!
Im trying to convince state officals to allow a temporary medical marijuana pass, or something. It wasnt my idea, but Im willing to be a guinea pig for something bigger then myself.
Anyway, Ive realized in this time something I find important. Im now the man. When you cross two or more realities, there will never be a way back to either, fully. This mesh of colors is our new reality from that point on, so on and so forth through lives. I am the Man now, in my own way, standing over humanity judging without reason.
Heres the the forever last nightcap!

No Pinemom, this thread isn't about you.
He made you look though.

All I have to say to Lambic is :
"Dude, get some sleep, or the monsters will eat your tootsies."

We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Re: AM/PM
I hear you - I routinely go 3-4 days without sleeping at all. and a good nights sleep may total 4 hours if im lucky. I can tell you all the tricks people have given me over the years, nothing works.Lambic wrote:I havent slept in a few days. Ambien? might as well put them in a pez dispenser, they do nothing for me. The way i am wired is fucked up apparently.
18 days is the worlds record for no sleep at all.

Interesting. Both the article and your inability to sleep. I have two sisters, they are twins; one of them only sleeps about 1 to 2 hours max a night. It's all she needs. Something I could never understand. She wasn't like that when we were younger. I need my full eight (sometimes more).

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleave of care...
Alan Berliner has a wonderful film on being awake.
They only run it on cable at 4 a.m.
