Hey there, I'm Erin and my boy and I are moving to Santa Maria here in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if there was anyone else in the area that we might be able to connect with... or know of any kind of music scene around the area. I know the area is really small and it would be great to meet some new friends when we get there

Thanks. I didn't even think about that lol. We were thinking the area is so small there might not be much activity.

Hi Erin -

There is lots of activity in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. As far as music, SLO is a college town and so lots more there than in Santa Maria. I live just over the hill from you in Lompoc - there are lots of burners around, just not so many on this board.
