I had a blast at T'fus '09! It just seems to keep getting better and better, IMO.

Some of the highlights:
Working two greeter shifts with loads of hella cool people
Keeping my fellow greeters well lubricated with alcohol
Swimming nekkid in the lake
Having drinks with random nekkid folks at the floating bar on the lake
Doing shots of Evan Williams out of a duct tape shot glass at the floating lake bar, with lots of other nekkid people.
The absinthe bar (serving 100% homemade absinthe) - those guys got me shitfaced.
The guy with the bullhorn doing his best to embarass the couple having sex on the lake in the little inflatable rubber dinghy. "You two! Couple in the boat! We are NOT watching you! Carry on!"
The priceless look on the woman in the dinghy's face, after dude with the bullhorn brought a bunch of attention to them, "God! Dammit! I am trying to CONCENTRATE here!"
The naked red-headed chick who tackled the guy with the bullhorn, and took it away from him.
His last pronouncement over the bullhorn, "Stop! I am VERY important!"

And of course the usual great stuff - the burn, the art, the music and the wonderful cool-ass people!

I love Transformus! It's one of my favorite events of the whole year.
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

Mwa ha ha...Mr. Megaphone is top-notch! I love him and his woman dearly.

That duct tape cup was the best! I wonder if you were partaking when I was bartending on the SCIENCE! bar?

Philosopher's Stone (the absinthe folk) will get you all kinds of fuzzy-headed - their mini tophat and steampunk workships were keen - them and Pretty Titty Bang Bang made good neighbors.

I might have been there when you were bartending on the SCIENCE! bar. It was Saturday afternoon, about 4-ish or so. Whoever was bartending sat the bottle of Evan down in front of me. I kept pouring shots of Evan into the duct tape shot glass, "Hey! Anybody want a shot of Evan Williams out of a duct tape shot glass?! What?! No takers?! All right then, one more for me!" I had about four shots this way; it was awesome!

I made the giant tie dye eyes tapestries that were hung up on the back of the barn. To me, they represent the collective spirit of the event, sort of checking things out while the event is going on.

BTW, I love you Science! guys. I partied with y'all quite a bit at T'fus and Alchemy in 2007. I was immediately drawn to Camp Science!, since I earn my living as a professional scientist. The floating bar at T'fus was the fucking bomb! I totally loved it. I heard about the dumbass who set off the flare - fucking dumbass! Anyway, I hope to see you at Alchemy!

You should SEE Ring's tie-dyes.

You should gift me one of your bedspread ones.

Why?

Let me count the reasons.
Cuz we're friends.
Cuz you love me.
Cuz I love you.
Cuz I've always thought you are HOT.
Cuz I've lost 140 pounds since you saw me last.
Cuz I did Census.
Cuz I did LNT.

That's why. :P

I'm grasping now. :P

Hey Ms. Monkeypoo!

You're right! I DO love you!

I'm sure we can work out some kind of "trade" for a beautiful, hand-made tie-dye bedspread. Hmmm... I wonder just what I should trade my bedspread FOR? Hmmm... I'm sure we can come up with something ;)

BTW, sorry it took me so long to reply; I'm out in Santa Fe NM for a week.

Give my love to everyone, Gizmo!! Have fun at Alchemy!
I miss you all and love you right back!!

Man, I'm gonna miss attending the SantaCon in Atlanta, GA.
Those Dirty Southern Burners are a real hoot to party with.
There must have been 100+ of us in Santa suits that year I went.
It was a total blast.
