Still trying to decide. Have tentative permission from wife and job, need to push that 100% (or at least 51% where both will still be there when I get back!). Ticket is waiting at will-call. Stuff is waiting to be loaded into the truck.

I wish I was.......but, I'm bringing my pickup and old travel trailer......
the old deuce, good as it is, is so slow....and, not set up for pulling a civilian trailer, and, 24 volt system.....on and on.......

yup, all 3 of my deuces have PTO's....one even forward and rear.....for the crane attached........

I had thought of a cool MV using one....folding sides and two story.....huge rolling platform as it were....it'd idle all day, not much fuel at idle......and, with 10 wheel drive, who cares if there are dunes?........

Rabbi, you started this thread without saying if you were going or not. I'm not going. It's a lack of motivation thing. Dunno.
BTW, I have a PTO on the transfer case of the old Dodge. That way, I have 5 speeds on my winch,,, also power-out. Now, if I just take the damn thing somewhere !

I didn't go last year because I was pregnant, and I'm not going this year because my daughter is only 9 months old... not ready to bring her and not ready to leave her either! 6 years on, 1 year off, 1 year on, now 2 years off... i love my baby girl but man do i miss the playa.

Can't go this year. Too much going on at work and I am sort of a one man department. There is nobody to take my place and nobody to watch the kids this year; Grandma had a stroke. So I will be at home babysitting.

Not going. Mom died in Feb 09 at age 92.
We fixed up the house & sold it last week.

Need to get the estate in order by Sept 3
