An original Burner makes good!

Not sure how many paid attention to me when I asked if anyone on eplaya knew Flash? And for anyone that knows me in person, you know Flash and I were attached at the hip before/during and after the birth of Burningman.

For those of you that know him, and dont yet know this, this is crazy huge news.

Flash of all people has his own show on the Discovery Chanel.

I still cant get over it.

I've been hangin with him this year and he never told me. I had to find out one day by accident surfing through cable one night with a friend.

Cheers to you Flash! You deserve it.

I have been a friend of Flash for years. I was most impressed with his first episode since he didn't use the word "fuck" once. In person, he can hardly use a sentence or tell one of his incredible stoires without that word being said. By his second show, he was being beeped pretty regulary. That's the Flash we know and love.

I spoke with him not long ago and he said he was not going this year. I have a feeling that Mama Lola will be dragging him there! We'l see.

There are those of us that do not go on a regular basis anymore. Just saw Ms. P. for anyone that knows her, and she has not gone in awhile either.
Most of us originals have a life outside of Burningman. Does not mean we have nothing to do with it, dont want to or do not love it or want to.
Speaking for myself, my life is based on and has been changed incredibly by it and sometimes there is just no way to make it to the event.
Just the way it has been over the years.

Wish I could say I wish I never knew about BM but I cant.

I have had too much fun to this day even tho I have not been consistently going.

Just wanted to say that.

This year really should be the year that all the originals including myself should go. well everyone.....almost everyone unique in the world should go..... It is totally representable of what we were/are about, because it should be the most interesting year due to the theme.

Hope yall have a great time "as usual". it's what we all then have done, before/during and since.

Hey, who knows, maybe I may show up.

Hey, maybe Flash will.

Who knows? You never can tell. LNT!

Flash is loitering in Gerlach and he says he will be on the playa this year. It will be fun to see him with a swollen head from all his new found fame. I guess we need to add more water to the soup--he'll be joining us for dinner!
