First Tribe.net, now Facebook, WTH

In a way, Tribe.net was how I got introduced to Burning Man. It connected me with fellow fire spinners in San Diego, in turn connecting me into the Burning Man community.

Then Tribe.net started going belly up. Hardly anyone uses the site now and it's still overloading the servers.

A lot of people that I know switched over to Facebook for their daily interactions.

Now, I've been getting constant messages of the 'site being down for maintenance', yet I'm still getting e-mails about people communicating with me on Facebook. Is it starting to go belly up too?

Recently, the ePlaya has been the only constant location I can goto for my daily Burn fix.

Not really a discussion point, just voicing my observations...

give it time, unfortunately the fix turns toxic here. best approached in small doses, and watch the random drama like science experiment observations in a psyche ward.

it can be quite entertaining... well... until one starts to stalk you.. or they start eating thier fingers, then its just gross.

Sounds like typical forum trolls. There should be a meet-up for real forum trolls, next year at the Burn...

...but I think they might be too scared...
