Moral Dillemmas

Post by theCryptofishist » Sun Feb 14, 2010 7:10 pm

Can I plonk someone who uses the term "vajayjay."

(And I much prefer the fake Oprah term "mingy.")

If you feel like it plonk them. Some people really don't know any better though they fear the word vagina. I made sure my kid won't have that issue. I taught her penis and vagina as soon as she could talk. No fear of body parts in this household :)

If it was used seriously, then yes please! I used the term once, but it was clearly in jest, and I still felt like a total "vajayjay" afterwards.

It's funny that there is something so cringe-inducing that it makes "cunt" look a viable option.

The Aussies have extended the "range" of cunt to where it applies to persons of either gender. It seems to be a step beyond "wanker"

Yes, I know. I guess it's hard to admit that South Park has a better nickname for your pudendum than you yourself do.

Oh thank goodness, for a moment I thought you said vagicles.

And the issue isn't the organ itself, the issue is that prissy, cutesy name.

Now that that's settled, don't any of the rest of you have any moral dillemas?

that raises a question:
is it an organ, appendage, or accessory?

My moral dillemma:

can I be snarky and pissy towards someone, who, just "pisses me off"..........not in any specifics, but, just generally?............

So if I am in the store and everyone around me seems to be complete and utter slow minded, witless, mall walking cattle who think of no one but themselves and take up entire aisles of the store can I punch them in the back of the head?

if you punch 'em in the face, you can see the delicious expression they make as they hit the ground.............

I love the people, who, block a sidewalk or aisleway, while talking, and, glare as you try to make your way through............

I know they just make me soooo very happy!!!
Punching them in the face would be funny to but sometimes it is really hard to get in front of them. Punching them in the back of the head would be much easier.
I am just wondering if I should avoid going places for a while. I am sure that isnt healthy thinking :)

My friend likes to trip unattended, misbehaving children that run around in restaurants.

Does that make him a bad person? Is there even a moral quandary here?

I don't there is. In fact, supererogatory acts are to be commended I think.

In ethics, supererogatory indicates an act that is good but not morally required to be done. In short, morally praiseworthy but not morally obligatory.

It's sort of like gifting 'clues' to some of the assholes one often runs into while at Burningman.

A couple years ago, I brought a "Talking Elmo", to 4th of juplaya. It was one of many toy dolls used as targets. After blowing the shit out of the poor bastards, with my ak and shotgun, we hauled the carcasses back to camp. Elmo got hit pretty hard, but not soo much the voice box didn't work. It was stuck on somehow, and the distorted elmo swan song was heart wrenching. I had to take him away from camp, and finish him off with the 12 gauge.

A few days after we got 24" of snow here I went to go park my car in my lot but we had lost half of the spots on my side where bulldozers dumped snow. The lot on the other side was nice and clear where the maintenance guys plowed it. No reserved parking, so I picked a random spot.
Later that night it started snowing again so I went out to clean off some snow before bed. When I finished I looked up and some woman was standing on her patio glaring at me.
"So you're the one who took my parking spot," she said.
"Huh?"
"I shoveled out that spot. You need to move your car to the spot you dug out"
If she had asked me in a more civil manner and not demanded, I might have moved. But I just shrugged and said, "Sorry, It's under a 15ft. mountain of snow. Besides they plowed this lot. There's plenty of open spaces."
Then she just went bat shit.
"That's so RUDE! I can't believe this! I hope you can live with yourself! You can park anywhere, this is MY spot!"
Normally at this point in a confrontation I just roll my eyes and walk away. Maybe she had a bad day, got news someone died, whatever. But here is where my moral dilemma come in. My reply was, and I quote,
"Fuck you, you stupid cunt, there's no reserved parking, just fucking deal with it!" .....yikes
I walked away and she was still yelling something about calling the apartment manager. I drank a beer and went to bed but didn't sleep well. I felt really bad.
I think the East Coast is turning me in to an asshole, I don't like it.

The best thing is to deliver them to the kitchen as "Free Range Long Veal." You get your meal free that way.

Oh crap, I think that was the dinner special at the Black Bear Diner in Alturas when we stopped by there on the way to the 06 burn.

It was pretty tender, from what I remember.

now I'm hungry...
