What was the most egregious thing in the leaks, though?

The was pay for access, but I never saw a clear quid pro quo.

There was Machiavellian party politics, but nothing new under the sun.

Comments to Wall St. taken out of context?

The fact that Americans were so easily distracted by them and teased into outrage says more about us as a people than anything else, so in that sense, I agree the leaks themselves weren't the issue.

As is typical in democracy, we get the leaders we deserve.

Most blatant undeniably dominant "conspiracy" is the Federal Reserve System... they basically own the world and most of it's inhabitants.

The FED is a private banking cartel that is not directly under the authority of the US Government... yet they print all the money for the entire USD banking system, which makes up ~75% of the currency in the World. This money is lent to the banks and governments at interest.

They then use the US Governments taxation system and the IRS to collect all the money ever printed, at interest... they continue to print money out of thin air as there is no commodity standard by which the money is printed to allow the economy to maintain. This leads to inflation and boom-bust cycles which drastically affect the economic stability of the working/taxed class.

The FED undeniably has anyone using the Ameican dollar trapped in a system of slavery/taxation. They own everyone who uses the US dollar.

This is why libertarian minded people want to audit the Federal Reserve System and abolish the IRS... to free people from global scale corruption and thievery.
