I'll start

I met Chai Guy and his lovely lady face to face at Xara Dulzura. What a great experience. We exchanged 'I hope I have not pissed you off on eplaya' type sentiments and then just dove into a rewarding chat. We were both too busy minding our various stores to spend a pile of time but I look forward to repeating the experience and then some on the playa. I might even drink some chai with him.

I met a guy at the LA Decomp who I thought really had it together, and he had an infectious enthusiasm to boot... thought I'd want to camp with him but decided to lay low with my friends (and possibly son) instead.

Oh wait, that was you!

Tom and Flash, the guys that built the 70-foot whale. Flash is a real character, and the kind of guy that's always glad to see you.
Tom is just a cool dude.
I met a lady who called herself Sunny. Turned out she lived ten miles from my home. We hooked up for a while after the 2000 event. Until she went to jail...

John Tesh... and we're so gonna jam together in Disturbia this year. Seriously, I discovered pretty quickly when I met David Best that we had a bunch of artist-type friends in common from [xx] years ago. Like, old school, man. I hear the Mormons have a Six Degrees of Larry Harvey site out there somewhere.

Met my wife in 01', does that count? First she kept stealing my ladder when I was working at the cafe, then I helped her get her art piece intstalled, then we met at Thunderdome after I pounded a mutual friend into the ground, and it just took off from there.

The real magic happened while riding back into the city from the Duck on top of one of the Deathguild cars. I never knew the sound of fifty-caliber machine guns could be so romantic...

I met Stuart at Xara Dulzura and he was even more amazing in person than he is on the eplaya and he even stopped me repeatedly as I gushed about what a great guy he is to my girlfriend.

Oh and if anyone else wants to meet me in person I'm moving up to S.F. next month! Or you could just flag down my chai cart on the playa, your choice.

Roberta the Psychic

Post by cowboyangel » Fri May 21, 2004 3:07 pm

for god sakes it would be Roberta the psychic at the pyramid. Not only is she beautiful, but her powers to look deep within and say the right thing qualify her as a true oracle......come back to BM Roberta!!!!!!!!
