Bacon
Bacon
Yeah, I did a search on bacon, it returned the whole forum.
I just got a bottle of Bacon Hot Sauce, recommended!!

And the Calendars are in! Yay!

Anyone have other favorite bacon related products? I have been a bacon fanatic for years so it was great to find out that so many burners are equally obsessed with the meat candy.

Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

This is not quite a bacon related products, it's actually bacon.
I'm not sure why it took our civilized society so long to come up with this idea. It's fully pre cooked and needs not refrideration until opened. It can be microwaved or cooked in a pan with virtually no mess. Also, the fat that comes off at the factory is used for other uses to give that bacony good flavor to other human foods as well as animal foods. This fat would have been wasted otherwise.
I can not think of a better treat than a thick, crispy strip of smoked bacon.

Pretty much every thing is make of corn. Including vodka. I don't know what the characteristic that makes vodka "vodka" if it isn't brewed from potatoes.BAS wrote:Is Everclear made out of corn?
On the other hand, I'm still trying to wrap my head around "rum" make from potatoes with flavorings added. I know, central Europe, but is it really rum if it isn't made from sugar cane?
It's a twisted world when you let liquor companies define drinks.

Everclear is a "neatral grain alcohol" made from a variety of grains, in a "mash".BAS wrote:Is Everclear made out of corn?
Hey, is Everclear cheaper than gasoline? Maybe we can run our cars off of it...
It may contain corn, I guess, though.

Factory hog farms are one of the most devastating things for the environment. The ones in the Carolinas produce more waste than entire cities, yet due to loopholes, the waste doesn't have to be treated. They just spread it on their 'farms', and it makes its way into the local waterways, where it creates all kinds of bacteria & parasites. It stinks up the air for miles & miles, making the area uninhabitable. And the parasites actually eat away at fish & human flesh.

*yanks NT's soap box out from under him* For Chrissakes, why must you taint every thread you go into. Why don't you start yet another thread of what you think is right or wrong with whatever you want? And let posters come to you.
I apologize to everyone if I'm out of bounds.

Took me a minute to figure out what you meant. You haven't plonked that troll yet? It really improves the BS to content ratio of the threads. I actually liked the guy until he just went balls to the wall with his either/or black/white yes/no binary version of ethics and inflammatory posts attacking people.maryanimal wrote:*yanks NT's soap box out from under him* For Chrissakes, why must you taint every thread you go into.
