Yeah sure, if you expect us to believe you again. Last time you told us about the Big Boobs, Bacon and Midget Beer party, that by the time I got there the Bondage Mime was gone and most of the good monkeys were already taken. I'm still shittin out pieces of that frozen bananna surprise.

No way. I heard this years apocalypse won't be nearly as good as last year's. Too commercialized. I don't know if I'm going yet.. will Bassnectar be there?

So how much are we supposed to pay for our Apokalypse Ticket? and what happens if the ticket company screws up and loses it and we don't get it until June?

They say this year's tickets will go way up. Last year's Early bird tickets were an arm and a leg, first tier were a tooth and nail, and the gate price were an eye for an eye.

Who's in charge of tickets prices anyway? Jeffry Dahmer?

Well, since Jeffery Dahmer was dead last I heard, I'm not sure.

BTW, I'm fairly certain that the ticket office is somewhere in north eastern Idaho. Rumor has it that the preferred currency is in moose antlers, or maybe it was chocolate covered bananas...?

FaeTora, I have a friend who can help me with having the date changed. I will call him today and ask about moving it to Tuesday after the burn. I figure that we may as well enjoy ourselves, but not have to go through all the effort of packing up, traveling home, and cleaning our gear, if we're only going to have to deal with the stupid apokolypse anyway. I may even suggest that we just hang out on the playa on Tuesday, and not bother with all that exit traffic etc. What better place to view the "Ultimate Burn" and the end of humanity.

It's good to have influential friends in high places! :D

Well, I'm hoping for early Sunday after the Man burns. One last week in BRC and would sure save alot of time pickin up trash and driving home. May 21... December 12...whenever. But the world MUST END before 2013 because thats when the payments start on all this really expensive furniture I got from Morforless that I can't afford.
I said to the Good Abbot John: "Why would monkeys go from being covered in fur and having thumbs on 4 limbs to being naked and only having thumbs on 2?" He said to me: "Maybe we didn't come from monkeys, maybe THEY came from US."

WAIT!

before we go jumping the shark, and accept inevitable doom, let us ponder Plan B.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plan_B_2.0 ... in_Trouble

perhaps the end of the world as we know it is actually the end of the world as we know it.

what if a new world, perhaps a better one is what this means. what if a Failed Dominant Paradigm was finally changed or released in favor of a New Way?

perhaps the TRANSITION is what we are afraid of.

i'm still gonna buy my ticket in a leap of Faith, no pun intended.

Ammunition has always been the key factor in every successful transition for the last 100 years.

Gov fucked up and printed the wrong date on all the advertising, so now they may move it to a new date. They have set aside $10mil to cover the cost of convening an Oversight Committee to see if it's feasible, and how much pork should be add to the event.
