I normally wouldn't ask that type of question, but you've been logged on for several days now. Do you need emergency help, or are you just watching?

he's allowed to just watch, Tom.
I think it would be fun to have threads trying to entice specific newbies to post, but this one seems a little paranoid.
Sorry, Tom.

edit: wiped out my whole post. Definitely something odd, and "he"s joining other forums & just lurking as well.

Quite common, actually. I stayed logged in for hours when I'm not here. Days even if I'm in hibernate.
Don't you wonder about all the hidden users and the guests?
Pretty sure M54 is a passive link spammer, we get a lot of those. I may have even reported him. The name/number thing is generally a dead giveaway.
Or he may be legit and is lurking. I'm thinking spammer.

True. However, he may have intended to post, got distracted, and forgot to close the window. Could have multiple machines devices going and neglected one. We won't ever know. But we can post endlessly about it.Shambala wrote:I am confused as to why a spammer would need to be logged in for extended periods, when you can surf the entire site without being registered or logged in. It seems that you only need to log in if you are going to post.
The ones which bug me post twice, one with the commercial link, and one as an introduction. I can almost always spot the fake posts, even though there are more and more which are nearly on topic. Yes, do pull both now.
I've only had to ask a few "real" burners to pull their commercial signatures, that's rare. Like the guy who go m ad he couldn't sell his vehicle, then tried to clip in his craigslist link as his signature.

I've been on and off the boards since the beginning.
Didn't post because I couldn't see the point, then when I did try to post, I couldn't figure out how to do it.
It isn't obvious if you haven't done it before.
I'd tell you guys about the exceptionally rare speakers I posted on CL if they would let me.
And I never log off.
Why would I?
