Beautiful artwork/home

Post by maryanimal » Sun Jul 31, 2011 3:15 pm

There is this great artist in my city, and his name is Jeff Jenson. for at least 8 years, he's been working on this, fantasy-like, beautiful, castle. I've been watching him build it for at least 6 of those years. And it never ceases to amaze me how different it looks every time I see it. I took some photos yesterday and decided, with his permission, to post them and his email address!

Ok...this is the best I can do! enjoy!!

Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

You might try Technical Advise for All. I don't look at it because it's too technical, but I"ve been there once or twice and got help.

MA

Got to see the pics before they disappeared - very cool work on the part of the artist and very cool pics on the part of the photographer
Very nice....

It would be cool to try something like that in my neck of the woods but unfortunately not too open minded to creative expression around here. Prolly would be set upon by the villagers with torches and pitchforks - just like Frankenstein.

Anyhoo - thanks for sharing and good luck on getting your pics reposted

Well shit, if you build a castle you have to build a monster for security! 8)

Looks beautiful from what I can tell in the picture. West Hollywood is the creative city and we have art everywhere there is grass, and if there's not enough grass, they build a park.

There was a couple of photos of Jeff and myself. But I couldn't size them down no matter how hard I tried.

Thanks yggy. A large percentage is welding and brick work. You'd have to see it in person to really appreciate it!

This Jeff Jenson and me
Me: duhhh how do you work his thing? Jeff: I don't know but does my wrist and thumb look good?

Jeff: Hey now! this pic looks pretty good! Me: So it does! I'm another Annie Leibovitz!!

you should see it up close and personal!! Just strolling around and getting a close look at the detail is amazing!
