Lee, Burning Man launching non-profit in SF
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee is helping the organizers of the Burning Man Project launch a new non-profit in the city.

The San Francisco Examiner reports the group plans to build an urban cultural center in the city that will provide collaborative gathering and gallery spaces, classrooms and sites for rituals and ceremonies.

The Black Rock Arts Foundation, which puts on the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, announced in April that it is relocating its headquarters from the Bayview District to Sixth and Market Street.

From what it sounds like they need to get a few of their facts straight. But at least they aren't calling it a "Bunch of hippies and naked college kids on drugs"
