Here's the first one I built. I really need to resurrect this one -- the "Two Ton Tricycle".

Go, go Elliott!

My daffodils are trying to bloom. I'll need to go peek at them today.

Easter plans? I have a wellness appointment on Friday and Larry gets to give blood. Saturday will be catching up on house and garden. Sunday he probably will work, but maybe not. He won't know right away.

Dives into the NEB. That you LF? Ahhh yes. Morning everyone. Bit of rain here, with likely clearing by day's end and a fair weekend ahead. Had a couple of my grand kids here yesterday afternoon and did a a bit of a pottery project with them. Ages 6 & 8. Fun to watch them grow.

(Announcer)

And now, Silent Radio brings you this News Flash:

(Reporter)

Good afternoon. Your correspondent just returned from a walk to the nearest store to post a letter and buy a newspaper. This routine stroll goes thru a stretch of open woodland. On such balmy spring days as now, fresh grasses are growing vigorously.

First we noticed an elderly gentleman who appeared to have nothing to do – just sitting on a rock. We waved hello and he waved back with a wide grin. Then we saw what he was actually doing. On a particularly bright green hillside grazed approximately 20 goats.

Clearlake may not be the best place in the world to live. But we never saw goats in Sacramento.

Scoop Svendsen, reporting from Clearlake.

(Announcer)

We now return you to war, famine and treachery, in progress.

I'm with you lemur. I went ballistic when Coke changed the formula way back when. I think you should contact Keebler and let them know your displeasure with the changes. More chocolate/less cookie! A boycott sounds in order here as well. "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it".

Thanks for the noms, littleflower, those things look tasty!

The funny thing about the whole 'new coke' thing that got everybody in an uproar in the 80's was that is wasn't anywhere near the first time that they'd changed the formula (and they've changed it many more times since). It was something like the 12th or 13th time, and the 3rd in like a 10 year span. And it wasn't even the biggest formula change they'd made, they had already switched to HFCS by then if I remember correctly. The suits at coke had been freaking out about losing share and being perceived as old and stodgy in comparison to the pepsi generation, so instead of the usual silent formula change they decided to make a marketing event out of it. Hilarity and hijinks ensue.

Sorry to hear about the cookie swindle, lemur. I hate it when they do that stuff.

No big plans here, Yggy, we do our best to avoid most default holidays. More work on 3D stuff. Also tinkering around with new design for the ziggurat I've been tossing around in my head. Loud music. Drinking heavily. Make a table for behind the couch. I also want to work on getting some tools organized - we've got a great rolling cart to hold everything, but over time stuff gets spread out, and the cart's been getting used to store stuff we never use. If I can get it sorted then we'll spend more time making and less time digging around trying to find which bin or cart the tool we need has gone off to.

I hope everyone has a good friday, regardless of what their plans may be :)

Perhaps in this case "thick" is the British idiomatic use, as in stupid.

Morning, MDF, AntiM, what am I doing up so early in the morning.? (((MDF & AntiM)))

Shifting gears to welcome back the baseball season and more, hopefully great, Giant's games. Got that yellow ball to bat about later this morning and then some pottery. Starting to think about making Playa Schwag once again. Never too soon.

Dives in to the NEB for a bit of a snuggle and a snooze.

HI MDF!! nice stove! looks or seems sort of like a modified "rocket stove"?, very cool though.
Hi AntiM!! *gives noogie* :D :D :D :D

Hi Marty!! Y'know, considering the specialized muscles you must have, for all that ball batting, it seems you could easily be "Paddle Master" over at Retrofrolic or some church of Atonement.
Just a thought.
