Kenny's either winking at you or having a seizure.

the gurgling coming out of his mouth sounds something like "pluto".

The fuck?

Well.... vodka will never fix that baby. It is good and sliced in two forever I'm afraid.

In putting things away, I transferred it to my backup Diva Cup, first in a breech position, then rearranged head first. 'Twas more appropriate for kissing goodnight before I placed him on the shelf until his next sortie.

I think he said he misses you. But then again that could have been me. I've been doing that incessantly for the last few days.

Who misses who, the Diva cup? :D

Wonder if the Diva cup could be transformed into an inner form of P funnel(with hose)?
Your job to work on that, Delle!

Why do I always get the stinky jobs?

For now the Diva Cup is a cradle. Most likely due to be suspended from the ceiling shortly, with a nice red satin lining to keep my abortion cuddly.

Speaking of cuddly, sweet dreams Venus del Flyo.

Evenin' Bar.

Hi Ratty, hi Mohairs!

(Plops down from above onto the bartop)

Kegged 5 gallons of Cream Ale and 5 gallons of Oktoberfest this afternoon. And that was about the most work I did all day. Nice to have a day off.

(Sets out several glasses and opens up the bourbon)

'Shine! Nice...

I'm starting to get planning for next year. I can feel the slow build up beginning. Fingers crossed.

The metalwork is going well. The problem we're having now is not getting work, but getting it all done. For that I'm thankful. How's the stone mongering business?

Hey Mohairs!!!!
good to seeya!!

I"m glad, LCN, to hear you're keeping busy! Stone stuff is pretty dang slow this year......seems, people want to eat and such, before getting a stone for aunt Mary............but, I've cast many lines, so, I just live off what I make, whatever that is.

I found some old hand drills a while back, if I remember, my dad said his dad brought them from Sweden........the steel rings almost like glass, as far as tone..........I thought of you. Those old stone cutters, made all their own tools, and I think had some interesting alloys and tempering techniques.

I'm gonna start making my black granite "bricks" for siding the Hof this winter..........going to lay red rebar ready type brick around the windows, and key that into the black walls.

I still have my father's (born in 1919) hammer, Chicago electric circular saw and electric jigsaw. The metal cases shock me sometimes... I don't actually use them much anymore but I have 'em and do occasionally plug 'em in and use them. The hammer works just fine! I almost brought it to the playa this year, then decided I'd rather not risk losing it.

So, the story goes, I have Lincolns cherry tree ax, original. It's had 2 new heads and 6 new handles, but "it's the one".

hi all, I am sat at MDF's place on her laptop, for the first time ever I am in america all on my own. I sit here thinking of all the things i didn't do and planning for next year already. I think i am having the first stages of "post playa blues" 48 hours until I am least 3000 miles from the people I want to be no more than 300 feet from.

the people I didn't meet again this year will have to wait until next year, but the people i did meet - who I never expected to- kind of make up for that (at least a little).

AAaacckkkkk.... Monday morning! It's starting to sink in that I must go back to work today.... harrrruummphh.
(at least, I do like my job. It would be so much more dreaded if I hated it!)

Still have that wonderful feeling of connection from seeing so many good friends, a feeling that stays with me through the year, thanks to ePlaya! Stuff getting cleaned and sorted, and already packing for Decomp, 4 days in October near Flagstaff.

Now, down to some serious coffee intake :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :!:
Good morning!!!
