How to find people you met at BM this year?
I met so many cool people this year and it was a blast, I wish I have their email or contact information to keep in touch, this was my first time and I have been browsing the e-playa site to see if there is a way, can't seem find any.
Is there something I am missing, how can I find people I met at BM this year???

IF you know where they camped, try contacting the contact for there camp (from the main page to the theme camps page.)
You can try and put up a message on this board too, be aware that only ~a tenth of attendees are members and they have different names possibly.
Attend local events like Decompression and see if they show up.
Make sure to bring paper and pencil with you next year so it doesn't happen.
Accept that some of those magical encounters were one-time gifts from the universe and that htey were still wonderful, if too brief.

I had a most pleasant overtly and lengthy humorous exchange with gentlemen inbibers at a truly weird bar on 5th near 5th and Earth where I was camped. The Band sung a song devoted to the multi-uses of "Duct Tape" who was that? Reward for the right answer and I shit you not.

Bar on Five and Earth
Try looking up people from the Golden Cafe, as that was the best bar with a band on Five and Earth.

incredible lady from Connecticut
I too have the deepest regret of my life in not making sure that this incredible Lady I met on thursday night on the red penis art car knew just how much and how deeply she touched my very soul. For whatever reason I did not even think to make sure who and where she was gooing to be, perhaps she wanted it this way.I know that this is probably all part of the experience out there but I just cannot help it.If anyone has any idea who this wonderful lady is please pass this on as my search is just beginning, I would very much like to feel her v ery presence again and forever. To me it is just amazing how indescribely delicious the connection was and we never did more than talk, walk a lot hug and hold also sharing the greatest kisses ever, 5 hours of pure numb bliss in the presence of another.........

Well, the same way you find your missing car keys.
You go back to were you lost them, then try to bring back the same mental state that you were in at the time. Back track from when you knew they were lost to when you last knew you had them.
Hint: Check under the cushions in the sofa. That's usually were you find them.
If anyone asks you why you are staggering around drunk on an empty dry lake bed, just tell them that you'll be gone as soon as you find your missing friends. They usually tend to leave you alone after that.

Hi
It's me Andy the Swiss guy and I'm looking for a Colorado Camp from the 2017 Burn, I'm pretty sure the camp was at 5:30 H. The camp had about 30 People total and I meet you named MeHigh. We hung out and you showed me your camp, later a couple of us drove out to the Playa and I took your group picture, just before I left you guys! I'm trying to find you for next, year, figuring out if I could participate in your camp?
Anybody, any idea what the camp was called?

I go to Juplaya and GPS my way to the exact point we met, then wait fervently for my Sexy Playa Goddess to come at me from the horizon, riding the front of the Christina, to sweep me away to infinite bliss and glory.

That's probably more effective than anything else.

Re: How to find people you met at BM this year?
I bought about 500 business cards with my email address. It has mine and my wife's nicknames and real names on them. I occasionally give them to people I meet when I travel or at other times. If I really like and trust you I will write my address and phone # on the back with ballpoint pen. I live on an acre or so 30 miles from Yosemite NP. I tell them they can camp on my property if they' need a site with electric, water, and even dumping gray and black water near Yosemite. I even have an outdoor shower, with hot and cold, on the property. FFS the cards cost about 20 bucks, everybody should get some. I passed a few out at BM. There was a scene at my camp where we were all exchanging cards. One guy, a grown-ass man, kinda whined, "I don't have a card". Another guy, a charismatic captain sort of guy, didn't give fireheadwhale his card. I was crushed. Don't worry, I'll get over it. Maybe I should have said,Where's mine?".

I'm generally wary of receiving peoples' business cards, usually because I always take it as they're trying to buy influence or promote something.

Exchanging business cards on the playa? I have never seen that in all the years I've been going.
I usually come home from a business convention with a pile of cards and most get dumped out.

It's not really a business card. More like what they used to call a "calling card". No business is promoted. It's for if I meet someone I wouldn't mind being in contact with. It's simply names and an email address. The only thing it promotes is friendship.

My eplaya name and playa name are the same so I usually tell people they can contact me through eplaya.

I like the term "calling card". Of course I'm old enough to remember when to "call" meant to visit in person. And I have seen such cards referred to as "visiting cards".
Then the telephone industry invented a way to pay for coin-phone calls with "credit" cards that were linked directly to our home telephone account, and they named these cards "calling cards". Argh.
That fad seems to have passed, so now it is safe to use real calling cards again. ...With the addition of modern contact information, of course.
Maybe they could be named "contact cards" now.
