Blood in the Water thread starters
Blood in the Water thread starters
In the spirit of last summer's "I'm a Dead Horse--Beat Me," what are some "Blood-in-the-Water" thread topics? That is, what topic titles do you imagine might cascade into a gushing spray of churning chum?

Just a polite reminder to stay generic and not go after any current posts you think fit the criteria.

Re: Blood in the Water thread starters
I am literally living hand-to-mouth as it is trying to feed my family, but I want -- no, deserve -- a ticket to Burning Man because impoverished people like myself should still be able to go on week-long vacations across the country (it's an American right after all). The LIT program rejected my plea, but for some reason I can afford a full priced ticket despite my sorry situation, so will you please sell me your ticket?

Re: Blood in the Water thread starters
Help us bring our 2-seat, shitty mutant vehicle with a stupid name to the playa that will be our personal transportation by contributing to our $5000 Kick-sharter.
- Donate $5 - Get a gender-unspecific form email thanking you for your contribution
- Donate $15 - Receive a high-five if you visit our camp on playa
- Donate $30 - We'll sign your name on the MV with a sharpie
- Donate $100 - We'll send you a postcard that we got free from some local art gallery with a thank-you on it!
- Donate $200 - We'll serve you up something we're already cooking at lunch!
- Donate $500 - You get an autographed Hanes-brand white T-shirt from the crew!
- Donate $1000 - We'll drive you in the MV from our camp to your camp on our way out to Esplanade!
- Donate $3000 - We'll let you camp with us (as long as you don't use any camp amenities). You'll also get to ride in the MV when we're not using it!
- Donate $5000 - Are you kidding us? You get a one-of-a-kind CD-R featuring all the photos we take during our trip in addition to all the other crap we gave above.

I plan on inventing my own triathlon to the playa and I'll need folks on the way to help me with, places to stay, food, spare bike parts, and a lake to swim in. Oh, and I need sponsorship so I'll wear your logo!
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Hi, I'm just buzzing through Burning Man on my whirlwind hitchhiking trip to see the world. Something quick just so I can say I've been there.

I'm an attractive female with perky tits, and I have an RV to share. But need a ticket.
...and you'll need to set up your tent far away from my RV, like on the other side of the city.

Re: Blood in the Water thread starters
I am driving to BRC from the Pacific NW. I've got a sweet but old RV I bought for $25 from Craigslist, and will be hauling all of our camp infrastructure in it. The engine rebuild will be wrapped up about August 23rd, so I CANNOT drive on any hills. Which route is flat? Thinking maybe driving I-5 thru LA then Las Vegas would be best.
