https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_C ... astronaut)

I remember when this guy died on a motorcycle ride to Yosemite 25 to 30 years ago.

You all just be tripping on hacked data.

He died that night at home after the crash from internal bleeding.

The news today of him is FAKE. Man that pisses me off.
Laika and me went on a ride.

Those lunar astronauts are a rare breed apart, and don't suffer fools gladly.

Ticket begging was inventive and interesting. Online rules and shortages have ruined that entertainment.

I remember when you poured oil in auto air cleaners. It was not that long ago.

An ePLAYA member has a mid-1950's Chevy that unless he changed the carburetor air filter, would still have a huge air filter that he pours a little oil in the bottom.

When Ted Nugent was cool, and stranglehold was a bas ass tune. Now Nugget wears a red dress, under Trumps desk, still unable to find Cheney. Does anybody know, if Dick has gone to hell yet?

I'm so old I remember when I'd fly across the Atlantic, entering by climbing up stairs from the ground, sit in seats facing other passengers, with a table between us for reading or playing cards, in a plane that had four propellers. I'd spend hours in the cockpit.
And real food.

I'm so old I remember when I saw television for the first time. There was a small fire in our house and Dad sent my sister and I next door. And there it was: a small boxy unit with an almost round screen. I suppose I got hooked immediately and for weeks whined at my parents until they relented and bought one. Weird thing: my Mom would save my crayon drawings, writing on the back what the image was supposed to be, and the date. One of the first scribbles was our TV sitting on a cabinet that held all the 78rpm records.

First TV I saw looked similar to:

I remember when the TV sat on the floor and had 8 inch legs under the cabinet. There was also a TV lamp on top of it. That would save you from going blind. Or so they said.

Someone may have mentioned this previously at some point, but, I remember when it used to be that when you turned off the TV, you'd end up with a little white glowing dot in the center of the screen, which then slowly faded away to black.

The "test patterns" introducing us boomers to our first mandala.
I know I stared at it... Viewing from a foot away was fun.

Electrons didn't end at the phosphor-coating on the inside of cathode ray tube, so maybe that was part of the fun.
Those electromagnetic waves perhaps heightening the experience.
What, Me Worry? (the OK Boomer meme)

Now it's blue light to worry about.

And no mandala on TV unless we go to YouTube and watch fractals.
