Of course, rg, so why say it's all bullshit? Modern science has too long thought traditional methods were bullshit and hasn't bothered with it. However, things are changing- in Vancouver the hospital has a wing dedicated to Chinese medicine- diet, accupuncture, the whole bit. Can science explain how a needle goes into the chi point and moves stagnant energy to help heal someone? Not really, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. Ask someone from China.

Re- the spirutual charging, yes I agree, and yet, if that's what someone wants to do, then that's what they will do. I won't judge them to be wrong if that's how they want to make their living.

And so what about artists? What about preachers (or any of those) who get paid to disseminate spiritual, uh, spiritualness (tired!).

But that's another day. Must get to bed. Thanks for the interesting chat!

yes, it does. that is why most people who are truly gifted in that way do not do it for a living. they do it in addition to whatever they do to get along in the world...much like many artists.
I knew I liked you for some reason.

‘Cause he’s RG... and that’s why we love him.

Haaa!!!!

Fair enough... I'll jst say I'd not do it that way.
What about preachers

But. um, acupuncture doesn't work. Sorry.

We'll take this up again sometimes later. Always love a good spirited discussion/debate. I'm glad you know not to take anything personally. Some people fail to remain detached. Good night.

I'd embellished a few days ago to say I'd been
on a "vision quest".

Actually, I'd checked myself in to the local
"Crazy Camp for Hesitant Suicides" from Monday
through Friday last week.

Sort of a "spin doctor" thingee, to call it a vision
quest?! I just needed to know if they could fix my mind,
that there was hope.

~signals barkeep for a screwdriver~

Ideation/plan?! Hell yeah!
Should I have no hope of love,
I am certain to do it up right,
no hesitation or chance of failure.
Ceremonial, too! Plus, LEave No Trace!
Eyes wide open, thank you very much.

Anyways, ~sees bartenders eyes look to side nervously)
this is getting kinda long, & i can tell you gotta pee
so I;ll give the GOOD news & spare
the icky reasons why.

I have been DIA-FUCKING NOSED!
Finally, I know why my heart pounds distress
auto-pilot (flight adrenaline) when thinkign I may be loved.
By freind, family, lover.
"Reactive Attachment Disorder".

hope
i may be
well

Goodnight, my little freinds.
You truly are quite Lovely,
and not in a scarey Valentines Day way!

I guess we're both opposed to the same things for different reason. You say it's money for the sacred, and I say it's money for bullshit. Or selling lies. What's the going value for a lie these days? I know of one that went for $87 billion.

As opposed to sparkleland where anecdotal evidence is accepted as proof? <big kiss> good night.

I'm not leaving. She was. I think she was just tweaking my nose there with the comment about Geniusland. Though I like the sounds of it. <starts drafting declaration of independence>.

Next time we'll just have to start with a discussion of what constitutes knowledge and acceptable evidence. We're working off of different axioms. Now get lost already!

Who says we're not drinking, noir? I'm approximately 1.3 sheets-to-the-wind.

1 shot of coffee liqueur
1 pint of guinness

shot in pint glass, then guinness on top of that
Yummy... very deserty

Two you say? I’ll make four then for the both of us.

It's nice to know that it's not just you, isn't it nipples? that there's a genuine medical and treatable reason for feeling the way you do?

That word "Ideation" is one which has imposed some serious changes on my life recently.
