Fine, you asked for it. Here's a picture of the FRONT of my head. Happy now?

I never got Sputnik to stand still, Fat SAM was elusive whenever I had the camera out, and I must have several shots of the back of Ranger Genius's head.

So, let's see 'em already!

Time for a beer.

i wish my campmates hadn't obsesses over the damn lights on the bar and had let me get over there earlier. enough was enough though - i think that's the drunkest i got all week. and i was only there for an hour!

i found that a beer in the afternoon is *the* best way to decompress - join me for an Amber ale, Sput?

No you didn't die, but you're just a beautiful playa memory to me since I won't have a chance of meeting you again until next year.

Times like these are when I hate living out here.

No I don't know...but I have a hunch. Anyway it was good to meet you even if it was brief. And I will be taken care of in the days ahead...It's simply taking longer than I'd like.

Man, I really wish that I hadn't gotten so trashed at the M&G. There were so many other people I wanted to talk to. And some that I would have like to have had sober conversations with.

Oh well. We are home anyways, with no problems on the way either.

I'm off to do some laundry.

I just got home a couple hours ago.....safe and sound in one piece. Had a little truck problem but it wasn't anything major.....darn check engine idiot light. Mud on some air flow sensor...go figure!

OMG! Samtzu! I thought you just dropped off the face of the earth! Glad to see you're back here. Bummer you couldn't go......next year?

Here's a big SALUTE to all my new friends I met out on the Playa! Thank you all for making my first burn an experience of a lifetime!

Tisha!

It was really great meeting you and your little ones. I hope you had a great time. Your camp had a kick ass bar, those bloody marys were great eating! (no kidding, they were LOADED with veggies!).

Hiya!!

yeah...those Bloody Mary's were my lunches last year until I literally pickeled my tongue! Thanks for stopping by - it's great to have a face for a name! Nice rig in the pix!!!

Hey Tramp-o-lean!!! I have pix for you....even one of you workin' yer strut in front of the ship...but alas...I have no where to host... <pout>

Yeah, beer = good. I was feeling spacey and weird after getting home until I went to our burner coffee shop (the one that provides the coffee and machinges for center camp) and had a beer with some dusty friends. All better!!

Hey Tish - liked the bar in person, too. Though I was pissed I didn't get any photos of you at the burn. Good thing I have the ones from your visit.

Thanks dear. It was really good to finally put faces to names. Glad to see you didn't have to get messages from your kids months after the fact this year. How did having them with you work out?

Nice rig in the pix!!!
Yeah, the idea was to have something that allowed us to round up hordes of spectators on the playa and turn them into participants. Anyone that may read this that helped in the raising/lowering/moving/burning of Project X, THANK YOU for help making it a great project. We couldn't have done it without you.
