F***, Heli, you gotta get the f*** outta that hole.

Man...

If I had spare wheels I'd send 'em your way. NO shit.

Worse comes to worse, I'll UPS you a few cases. I just wish there was a way to help out, ya know?

*********

Lessee, Heya LeChat... Other than lamenting about Heli's f***ed-up-truck, I'm not too bad. My daughter just passed her DL test and is all happy about it, and now *she* wants a car. >rolling my eyes!!<

**********

Anyway, popping the top on a pair of PBRs, setting them both in front of Heli, whispering in his ear...

"GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE!!!!!"

Anything we can do, you yell, damnit. 'iswhat family's for...

I dont want to leave, I just want my truck back so I can go see someone, and get some groceries. The jobs in my profession are few and the openings to leave are fewer. I get a fair wage, no skills for civilian jobs, bit if I had to, Reno or Vegas. Or Santa Fe. Or better yet, Taos.

Time for a quick drink and then I've gotta crash. Up late last night. Got jury duty in the morning.

Maybe a glass of merlot.

Hi! :D What a lovely uplifting loving watering hole this is! Everyone is nice to everyone, basically. Nice to be home!

Great to be back on the farm too. My amigos were psyched to see me. Then they just went back to what they were doing.

The librarian has a brain the size of a walnut and I believe she keeps it in her massive tail..... Can extinction be far behind?

Good to see you're still here, Dude... and, by the way... I'm still using that massive coffee mug you sent me. I love it....

grabs a bottle of Patron no class no salt no lemons just a straw.
falls into a booth singing
~~

Wastin' away again in Tisharitaville
Searching for my lost shaker of dust
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's nobody's fault

I don't know the reason
I stayed here all season
Nothin' to show but this brand new tattoo
But she's a real beauty
A Burningman cutie
How it got here I haven't a clue

Wastin' away again in Tisharitaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of dust
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
Now I think
Hell, it could be my fault

Wastin' away again in Tisharitaville
Searching for my lost shaker of dust
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's my own damn fault
Yes and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault

Just a quickie. Clink! Where the hell did the day go? For that matter, half the night's gone, too. Au revoir.

Shuffles in from bathroom. No goddamn TP. Oh well, that's why God made shirts with two sleeves instead of just one.

Pours glass of unidentified murky homebrew. Raises toast:

"To my 69th post!"

>crickets<

Rummages through the ashtray for a roach. Takes a pained hit. Realizes I didn't wash my hands. Shit. Laughs at choice of word, shuffles the hell out.

To the 43 and olders, I'm with you now.
I live in a town whose official elevation is 42 feet. So at the strike of 12 last night, my age surpassed my elevation. A friend pointed out that that made me officially over the hill.
Maybe this hooch will make me a little higher and I'll feel young again.
TOAST!
