Allow me, if Tish doesn't mind. Good to see you Zule. I can't stay long, but it's nice to be in the bar again.

Here's a pint of Pike Place Brewery's Wheat Ale. I'll have a shot of whooshkey with mine. You want one?

Good night, Zule. Just stay long enough to raise a glass in memory of Scott. A hug to you, Fishy.

Well... the last time I saw anything with a US president on the front was before Thanksgiving... and yesterday some old friends (who I thought had dumped me from their thoughts) gave me a bunch of those pictures... and food.....

It sucks to be poor (and out of a job) but it sure is a positive fucking blessing to be remembered by those who you have touched in the past.

As that whiny little crip, Tiny Tim, said... "God Bless Us... Every One!"

(Black Cat creeps in low to the ground, sticking close to the base of the counters. Weaving in and around the legs of the bar stools, he moves with a fluid motion fitting of a great panther... a great panther with an affinity for booze and cheese. His eyes are wide and fixed)

(He spies his prey and freezes... then preceded by the tell-tale kitty butt wiggle, he pounces!!)

CRASH!!

I got cha'! I got cha', man...

Quite yer fightin' 'cause yer gonna loose in the end and just die tired!!

*POP*

Told you so...

(Sets a bottle of wine on the counter top, grabs a glass and begins to pour)

Wine Heli? It's best when it's still warm...

It’s going... work is pretty good. I’m taking Christmas Eve and Day off. Looking forward to that, though I might not know what to do. And now I'm tying up some mistletoe bundles. How ‘bout you?

Yep.. Karine and I are still planning to leave the 5th. Not sure yet where we’ll be exactly, but should be there 7 days or so.

So Heli I can imagine you’ve had one hell of a feast, I know after I’ve used up all of the odd cans of stuff in weird combinations because it was the only thing left in the house, getting real food is a treat.

I hear ya... but glad you’ll be seeing family. That’s good. Sorry you’ve got to work, Heli. I’m sure you’ll make up for it though.

Don’t know yet... I’m waiting to hear back as to where they need us. I’ll give a call or email next week and see. My understanding is that it’s mostly clean up work, so I’m bringing plenty of gloves and a tool belt, hammer and some assorted other hand tools. I think they've expanded out beyond just the temple, so who knows? I'm game for whatever.
