Grab a comfy seat near the fire and the picture window. Watch the snow cover the playa. Some of that cocoa would be great right now.

*brings in a shitload of soft drinks*
Mixers everyone! mixers! Left over from the after party. Although what we are going to to do with a six pack of punch to keep it from coming back up after swallowing....Oh well, there's always someone around here drunk enough to try something stupid. Maybe we can use them for explosions...

Long roadtrip?
Yes, indeed. Four weeks on the truck with larry; I am sooo glad to be home. A week in the desert is a piece of cake compared to a month in a semi. Some things are the same, baby wipes and lip balm and bottles of water, but the performance art on the cb is something else entirely. And the laptop was in the shop, cracked hinges. Lots of book reading and sex to pass the time parked in the truckstops and waiting for live loads at manufacturing plants vs, watching DVDs. Next time you consume a Kraft or Nestle product, think very dirty thoughts, hehehe, we did.

A round of hot, sweet and alcoholic for everyone. I'm frozen today.

Fish House Punch

36 oz dark rum
24 oz lemon juice
25 oz brandy
4 oz peach brandy
3/4 lb superfine sugar
six pack of punch

Dissolve sugar in some of the punch. Add lemon juice and the rest of the punch, and stir. Add liquor 2-3 hours before serving, and refridgerate. Serve in a punch bowl with ice.

DON'T PANIC's MOVIE REVIEWS...

Post by DontPanic » Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:33 pm

Three...
Two...
and we fade in

turns to the camera and gives it a warm friendly smile
Hi, friends im DontPanic and welcome to DontPanics Movie Reviews...today we are reviewing the critically acclaimed 'Brokeback Mountain'. and friends, save your money...now i usually i dont go see these big artsy movies...fuckin things are like independent films on steroids...and i wish i hadnt made an exception for this one. Now, granted Heath Ledger and Jake Gillenhall...gay cowboys...beautiful scenery...hot gay love scenes...cool rodeo sequences...awesome...cool...run with it...but, fuckin hollywood people, some how they managed to screw it up...now for a word from our sponsors, those 'Fuckin Hollywood People'...
********************Commercial Break************************
Hi and welcome back to DontPanics Movie Reviews...tonight im reviewing "Brokeback Mountian"...so heres the plot:
Ledger and Gylanol are cowboys driving sheep across Brokeback Mountain...the pristine wilderness sets a very attractive back drop for majority of the movie...anyhoo...one night ledger gets rip roarin drunk and sticks it to jillanhaul in a love scene with as much appeal as prison rape scenes cut from OZ...Then and little tenderness and a heaping pile of man-on-man romance....Then they leave the mountain at the end of the summer and dont see eachother for 4 years...they both get wives and kids and passionate flashback sequences then they start going back to brokeback mountain every couple of months, fuck for a few days, and go back to their wives. who both have figured out what the boys are doing on their 'fishing trips'. the one dudes wife leaves him.. Jake Gilanhall gets beaten to death by a couple of 12 year olds and Heath Ledger spends the rest of his life sniffing Jakes jacket....The End...no seriously...thats it....really....
Since getting out of the theater at the end (and yes...i sat through it ALL) ive been trying to figure out how to get that 3 hours of my life back.
Heath and Jake all strong and handsome and naked together in a woodland paradise...ok yummy....but the rest of the movie i give two little blinky shiny things out of five. Girls should check this movie out just because of hunky nakedness...but wait for it to come out on dvd...and rent it...
turns to camera smiles big and waves goodbye as credits start to roll
and remember ladies and gentle men....no matter what.....

I wish it was for real that I could gift everyone this stuff...but it's a virtual bar. So without further adieu I'm gonna put these 4 cases of PBR, 2 bottles of Jamesons, 2 bottles of Maker's Mark, and 4 bottles of Patron behind the bar for the bartenders to do with as they see fit. And with that I'm outta here.

I actually thought I liked the movie until you straightened me out DP. Thanks.

Seriously!

But there's enough gay cowboys and sympathists in the Academy to assure it a nomination. Those boys will ride again, the sheep sigh in relief, aMEN.
