Can you sing the Oscar Meyer Wiener song?, Will, you sing the OMW song?
I can... I will not. I find I have very little desire to be an Oscar Meyer Wiener.

The Armour Hot Dogs song is a totally different matter, however...

Juice? Hmmmm... I don't know how well that would go with the Red Bull I just slammed.

How about some vodka?

*comes in and stokes the fire, goes and gets a cup of coffee, adds the appropriate coffee helpers, goes and sits by the fire*

Well Plastic G'zus with the 62lb of honey I ordered I'm going to make 20gal of mead. Each 5gal batch I wanna flavor with different fruit.

*shouts over shoulder*

YG, don't know if you found your recipe yet, but the one I use calls for 15lb of honey and enough water to make a total volume of 5gal.

*turns back*

So, anyway, pomegranate is going to be the first and I'm half tempted to try a batch of banana just to say I did. Of course being such a soft fruit there's no telling what sort of a mess I might end up with. I plan to make a batch a elderberry, but that won't be till the end of next summer when I can pick some.
Plastic G'zus wrote:...i also want to make batches of black cherry, carrot, cinnamon/nutmeg, basil, and blue berry. ... I think i might also make a batch of bacon mead for the burn.
Now, I love carrots so that's going to be a batch to try. I may even go all out and get carrot blossom honey for it as well. There again, though, I'm going to have to wait till the end of the summer when I pick my carrots. I suppose I could use some of the ones I have frozen, but I think I'd be better off using fresh. Bacon? Hmmm, I just can't seem to get my taste buds around that one. I know Guinness uses meat in their brewing process, but.... I guess let me know how it comes out if you do go that rout.

Well I gotta run, catch y'all later

These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack in Churchill.

These pictures were taken while people watched and could do nothing to stop the attack!

HI JetSet.
thanks, that was the ratio I was looking for, but.......
whats the volume of honey weigh?
I thought I remember 5 lbs was about a gallon?
are you sure it's not 15 lbs of honey for 15 gal of water?...........seems I remember putting 3 gallons of honey in the 15 gallon beer keg..........
15 lbs in a 5 gallon bucket.......but, again, I can't remember the volume per lb.

I have elderberries I picked from my bush here..........
I see tons of them in WA when I'm up there. growing along the road......

Well have to share mead on playa..........yeehaw.............

*does happy dance, to reggae beat of OMWS*..........

ok, I just found it, honey weighs 12 lbs +- per gallon
so, again, I'm proven wrong.......dang............but, I remember correctly, then, 3 gallons of honey per 15 gallon brew.

it wasn't easy! the lights were hot and the caviar kept melting and running off of me ... so my assistant, he would have to wipe me down, and clean me up, and smear more on me, to take the photo ... this happened about 5 times, and it's a good thing we finally got this shot, because we were running out of caviar! i didn't even have enough left for lunch. that's why my hair was wet ... originally it was dry, but he had to keep cleaning me ... drying me off ... rubbing in some oil ... smearing the caviar ...

it took ALL day!

What a day! I almost killed my co-worker today, but thought the better of it and made some productive use of my aggression.

Anybody want some venison?

i have a sacrificial stone ... should we have a thanksgiving ritual ceremony? the OMW chant is excellent for the background music ... perhaps if we put the stone under the deer, to catch the blood, while we dance around it.... or i'll dance around it, being a BM virgin and all...

excellent idea, little flower

but consistent with virgin rituals at BRC, I think you'll need to drink some of this warm blood....

*slices an artery, cups hands under deer and catches some blood, dabs a little on little flower's forehead and then holds hands to little flowers mouth to drink from*

*starts doing the macarena*

OMW, sacrificial alter stones..............
aaaaahhhhhhhhh

*It comes...........*(low voice, like James Earl Jones*

*OMW volume increasing, wafting on the currents, omnipresent, omnipotent..........the blood, the blood............*

Oh, this'll be good, haven't seen this since my time in the Congo, in '47

*scattered minions, and the like, coming from all corners of the playa, to join "the body"..........the hedgemon.........the general..........the pontiff........the Ottoman........the pubah.........
and the others.....all are here*

*all hail the new matriarchs, bringers of blood sacrifice.......tellers of fortune.......seers..............*

*the throngs bow, supplicate , towards the "chosen matriarchs, maidens of Landru, blessed maidens of life", and, sing, voices raised to the heavens themselves........to even waken Skoll, and Jormungand, *

*they sing, sing, sing...........OOOHHHHHHHHH I wish I were and Oscar Meyer Wiener............* (Gregorian chant style)

*Drums sounding the pace..........*

and it shall begin,........... now.......

*strolls in, makes coffee, stoking fire, it's cold this morning*
*notes excited tones in OMW, must be from yesterdays revelations*

Hi all, well,
Who's up this morning...........
Coffee?

*realizes strange craving for fish eggs..........remembers dream on that subject........realizes all the "salmon egg fish bait" is missing from bar fridge.....*

uh-oh...........good dream, though.........*vacant stare and smile*.........

turns Juke on, (I don't know how to work the ABB), Beatles, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band..........

Morning YM. I'm up... Getting ready for my last regular day of classes this term. Finished my "Lear" paper at about 6 this morning... ~YAWN~
