If you have a gift, doesn't it feel better if you create it and then make somebody happy by it??....oh hell, what are the words?? THAT gave me joy. I didn't care about the money. I really didn't...
I cared more about her joy in it. And the joy her husband was going to feel on his birthday when she gave it to him.
Sweetie--perhaps you sold yourself short. She offered you the $150, that means she thought your work was worth it. And this is such a hard culture on artists and their worth. You did what was in your heart and I wont fault you for that, but there's no reason you should wear yourself out making other people happy but not take care of yourself. [/unsolicited advice.]

Hiya Fishy! Smooches right back atcha. I'll take a Technopatra Toddy:

1 tsp maple sugar
1 big squeeze from a lemon
(mix until sugar is dissolved)
1 shot Jim Beam Black
hot water

I just invented that drink a couple of weeks ago when I had a cold, the maple sugar gives the old toddy a whole new layer of flavor....mmmmm....goood.

So how the hell IS everybody? I am procrastinating before a meeting so I thought I 'd drop by and say hey. Miss you guys...just have been so all about work that I have nothing interesting to say!

2 shots Makers
2 shots 151
2 shots Jaegarmeister
and a ca-legal Everclear floater, lit on fire...

THEN we'll get into some serious drinking.

And to Heli, the answer is yes. How could I not??
