Sorry I won't be seeing you there this year,... I'm still not quite sure if I'll try to fix up my old truck or get a newer one, but I'm going to believe it will all come together and I'll be there.

Has the 15 Year old de-tasseled before, it can be a good way to make a lot of money fast or it can be the most horrible experience known to man.... the later can be a good motivator to do well in school to avoid shit jobs in the future.

Hi all! Whoa, what a long day. My feet are really feeling it now. I could use a drink.

Blah, I have to work a lot next week. Which is good, because I'm broke but bad because I'm very bored with my job. I suppose I should really start applying for some new ones.

Sorry noir, was making and eating dinner with my lovely wife. How's things?

Here, we're finally gainfully employed and no longer homeless. Going to start school again in a few months here.

Hmmm, interesting ... do I get to drink on the job? Do I have to wear underwear?

Oh and thanks Tish, it's always nice to hear your encouragement.

Well, I should be off folks. It's a beautiful un-humid day today and I should go enjoy some of it. Later.

Hey Blue, I hope you're sending some of that nicer weather my way. It really isn't the heat...I know that for sure.

I spent all afternoon building the first of the full-size windmill bases today with the rest of the crew. All I can say is WOW. We got all the sides whipped together in a couple fo hours and then put it up. 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide (at the base). I am so impressed. I can't wait to get the top on it. Of course, once we get it on the playa we'll probably wonder why we didn't make it twice as big.

OK. I've got a few negro modelos here that I'm going to go through.
It's going to be alright.

Here you go CBA. I tried this rockstar stuff last year. I didn't like it, so you won't be competing with me for it.

the bar

Post by mullethunter » Mon Jun 13, 2005 6:13 am

hey party people,

just found this thread and thought i'd stop by to introduce myself and have a drink (my favourites are a glass of dry red wine or a mohito). i'm currently in a small village in s. korea and so am feeling a little isolated (physically that is) and could use a drink with some friendly people. oh... and want to celebrate the fact that i just finished my antibiotics (damn bladder infections) and so can actually have a drink now. cheers to all!

Good morning, or evening or what ever it is in Korea.

I'll have some coffee myself, and I'll find you some wine after I get it started making.

(Black cat walks in, scratching his belly and spies a catnip nugget on the bar... and wonders:)

Here, now... what's with this? I’m finding these things all over.

(Looking up at the ceiling for suspended nets... down at the floor for trap doors)

Hmmm...

(Circling... he grabs a beer from the cooler and stands there, pondering the nature of such a thing as random catnip nuggets)

Perhaps it is, that the universe is simply smiling upon me, rewarding me with a swing to the good side of Karma...

Or maybe some alternate dimension is overlapping with the one in which we currently reside, and this is but my perception of the residual effects left at it’s point of exit...

Then again it could be yet another one of those strange Burning Man synchronicities that seem to occur with some degree of regularity, or even an Ofrenda in the beginning stages?

(Sips beer)

This merits further thought...

(he leaves the bar, but before going, reaches into his magic ditty bag and pulls out a flask of Brandy and carefully, so as not to disturb the nugget and set off any traps, places a snifter full by it's side along with a faded, although not exactly flattering, picture of his dearly departed grandmother cat.)
