Figjam I love you for this. It took me back to the days when I was married to a Mexican and my relatives in Kansas disowned me. I laughed and laughed at the 'racial' comments. AND "Do you hear sleigh bells? You bet your sweet ass you do." Who is/was this guy. He's great too. Thanks for the laugh.

Baseball is boring to watch. Gymnastic pitches and fielders doing things like this in their slack time?

Ratty, my dear, if no one has told you by now, the guy here is Patrick Stewart, formerly of the Royal Shakespeare Company in London. His biggest claim to fame is that he played Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the successful 'Star Trek: The Next Generation" on television.Ratty wrote:Figjam I love you for this. He'was thought of by the cast of the series as probably one of the best actors to grace the show.

Re: A sorta BM-inspired video...
I was trying to edit the post but, derr---I posted this video on the Reddit site too and was asked what it had to do with BM.
First, I'm basically new to both forums so if the video is seen as inappropriate or inappropriately placed or whatever, I'll remove it... if I can.
But to answer the question: I thought it had *everything* to do with BM, just doesn't take place at BRC. Its themes -finding one's self, relying on one's self, being your own best friend, etc.- is to me a big part of what BM is about. So I brought it here, hoping people would like it and share it---but again I'll remove it if it's not "right". )x(

Re: My favorite video (today) thread
It's fine to post on ePlaya even if it doesn't take place at BRC... it would go in the 'my favorite video' thread, which is where I've merged your posts.

Re: My favorite video (today) thread
I saw a clickbait article making the rounds on FB today talking about the lost Disney/Dali collaboration from the 40's, and so rather than post a link to some sensational headline adware site, I figured I'd embed the same youtube video of that piece... called Destiny. They started it in 1945, but the project went unfinished for 58 years and did not get released until 2003.

Re: My favorite video (today) thread
We have many sparkly sexy costume Burning man videos. This is different and very long. It is about the Zendo project that helps individuals at the event with psychic difficulties on the playa.
It is good to know Zendo are available if you need them.
And it is good to know their way of working for your own on-playa experience. I'm a natural vibes-watcher. Be there for people around you who might be having difficulties with the intensity that is Burning Man. Be there for them and send them to Rangers or the Zendo if you think might be needed.
